So have they fixed this with the '24s? Renting this '22 in FL this week and sure enough both back windows don't close all the way. I've heard this is an issue with the 550s and now I got to see it in action

I have not had that issue with ours. Is there a specific order in order to accomplish? Sure hope it don’t rain.

I put the backs up first and this is as far as they will go. But I can grab them by hand and pull them up the rest of the way. Annoying but hey it's a rental.

My 2015 did that sporadically. It was only the passenger side. Just went around and pulled it up because I knew I was ordering a 24. I haven’t had a problem with my 24.

I had a 2018 that I got rid of last December with 99,000 miles on it, just before the 2024 arrived. When I first got it I had the rear window problem. The sales guy said "all you have to do is pull on them and they will close all the way." My response was "All you have to do is fix it as it is under warranty." Their fix was to replace the motors that drive the windows. That lasted about a month. For the heck of it I bought a can of silicone spray and hosed down the weatherstripping channels that the windows ride in. Never had the problem again. I would just spray them once a year after that first time, just in case. (I used the little tube that came with the spray can to make sure the silicone was in the channel without overspray going everywhere.)

Tried it, no luck. Both rear windows failed to shut all the way. I just yank em forward with my hands before locking up at this point.

My 03 GT did this.. Spray the tracks with silicone spray. Problem solved.

Final update. I took the car back to Alamo and mentioned the issue. He was VERY familiar with it and said he had seen it a lot. They refunded $60 back to me as a courtesy which was really cool of them. He also mentioned that they have gotten the 24s in and so far has not seen this issue at all. Hopefully not a problem with the new ones.

Never had that issue with my 2008 or my 2015.... nor my 2024

Apparently your back windows are not Full Automatic.
They are Semi-Auto.
