This weekend I painted my stock 4 piston Brembo calipers Grabber Blue. I liked that the bigger, 6 piston brembos included the pony at the bottom of the brembo logo, so I did some searching and found a vinyl design on Etsy that worked for me.

Items used:
Brake Cleaner spray.
Wire Brush drill attachment (for cleaning the calipers)
Masking tape
Sanding block (320 Grit, sanded the face of the caliper.)
Rags to wipe down the calipers before painting
Grabber Blue G2 Caliper Paint.
Brembo Vinyl

Nice work! Looks really good and you saved a ton of money over ordering the brake package.

I agree it looks good, but you can't say he saved a ton of money over ordering the brake package. Yes he saved the money, but the brake package is a total different beast.

Nice! I'd like to do the same and have some questions:

- How hard was it to mask and tape off everything?
- Did you primer before paint, or just wire brush all surfaces then paint?
- Any need to disconnect brake lines or anything? (Hoping to avoid this)

U dont need to disconnect anything. When i did mine i didnt even sand them i just cleaned them with brake cleaner and then painted. But if u follow his steps u are going to be perfectly fine!

It is not hard to mask. Just mask everything you don't want paint to get on (Rotors, brake pads, wires, misc.)
I used a wire brush and lightly sanded. After the sanding, I made sure the surface was clean before painting. The G2 paint kit is epoxy based and does not recommend primer before painting. Just make sure your surface is clean.
Did not disconnect any lines.
