Glad to hear I can turn that prompt off. Would be very annoying being forced to make a selection everytime I turn off the vehicle. The car I test drove did this and did a constant beeping like a seat belt one when I ended the test drive.
You don't have to choose - just ignore it and it will default to full alarm.

The beeping would have told you why on the dash.

You don't have to disarm it just get out lock car walk away. Now if you have a dog like I do I will turn it off when I leave him in the car. I learned by ignoring it the went into a store came out to my car honking and lights flashing it seems the dog set off the alarm.

2020 F150 4x4 Limited. 2024 GT Mustang Premium. Both in Rapid Red.
This shows up every time I turn the car off. I don't know what it means or does, should I shut it off? How do I shut it off?

This is your Motion Detector.
When you Lock the Doors on Your Mustang if there is any Motiin in the Vehicle the Alarm will go off.
Example,
On our 2020 F-150 4x4 Limited when we have our German Shepard in the Vehicle & we get out & Lock the Door to go into a Business etc if I don’t turn off the Motion Detector She will bounces around the F150, the Alarm will go off.
When you turn off the Motion Detectors the doors will remain Locked & the Motion Alarm will not go off.
If someone tries to Break in your Vehicle the Alarm will go off. So will our German Shepard.
Another Example is a couple of Summers ago my Motion Detector went off.
My closest Neighbors came out.
I opened the door & a Miller Moth was Flying around.
We caught him & was released into the Summer Air.
The Alarm is very Sensitive.

I'll use it, but I just don't want to be "Prompted" every time I leave the vehicle.
So, I disable the prompt and it will either default to armed at some point or I'll select arm with prompt disabled.

That is exactly how it works! If you disable the prompt it will fully arm. If you enable the prompt it will fully arm by default if you do nothing but reduced guard if you choose.
