Help with hood vent dimension

Can someone get me a measurement for the location of the hood vent?

I want to know the distance from the front edge of the hood to the forward most opening in the vent.

Checked out some 2024 cars at a dealer.

Looks like it's only 12". Which means it is not properly aligned with the radiator fan shroud exit, at 17". Basically, it is directly over the radiator cover making it ineffective.
