I just read an article about dealerships who have the right to higher up the price of the car after the costumer places and signs the order on the purchase contract.
The only good thing is that the costumer is allowed to cancel his order when this happens.
This is the law in The Netherlands. I don't know if it's similar in the US and Canada.
