Color, model (GT, EcoBoost, Fastback, Convertible, other), What kind of options? Premium pack, performance pack, what kind of radio, cloth, leather, ricaro, standard....
Are the tires new, or old? If you just replaced them recently (last year or so), then you might want to mention them...
The Mid-Engine mustang is/was the Ford GT.
I do not see Ford coming out with a cheaper mid-engine vehicle - at present.
I see it this way. Every time we start hearing rumors of a change in drivetrain and layout, people here absolutely freak out.
AWD? OMG - it's going to add sooo much...
I want to clarify...if the transmission will increase the vehicle's performance, I am all for it. Maybe it allows for more torque at higher speeds, maybe it boosts acceleration at higher speeds. Maybe it does something completely different, but still improves something else...but if it does...
I fully expect that I would need to pay a significant amount above a regular ICE. I also expect that price to come down as new materials/battery tech/etc comes on line in the future. (of course, inflation will push that back up too)
Electric go-carts can be very fun
Golf carts, no matter if they are battery or ICE, are horrible.
I suspect you are confusing the engine with the function.
I don't see a transmission as needed for "fun". Honestly, Electrics feel more like go-carts, and to me, those are the essence of fun. It needs to have the acceleration to pull it off though...
I think the side view looks a lot better than the older Challengers.
As for a MT...that's not going to happen...Honestly, I am surprised they put in a transmission at all...
Dodge Banshee
Honestly, I think I will need to see it in person, but it isn't an EWWW - don't want, don't want, right out of the gate. In fact, I kind of like the way it looks.
I don't like the piped in sound
What's the reason for the multi-speed transmission? Is it just to provide a "clunk"...
Electrification is going to have challenges. Today, we use approximately 4.6 million Gigawatt Hours (GWh) of electricity in the US and Canada.
If you were to convert the energy of the gasoline and diesel used in the US (excluding Canada) to GWh, that would come out to about 6.4 GWh
Now, EVs...
The forums on the 6g board have a link to this forum because it's a sister site. This was not cross linked by anyone here, but by the design of the site itself.
They have to look like the Challenger or Charger. If they put out a SUV named Challenger, it would be a waste.
I get what Ford did, but when (not if) Ford makes an EV Mustang, it's gotta look the part.
Stelantis has to start making the move to electric. Typically, cars run on a 6-12 year platform cycle.
By 2035, all new vehicles in their home market (Europe), need to be EV (maybe not BEV, but EV). Some states are actually more stringent (Washington is 2030 for instance)
So yes...
I would not get the R/T, I would get the Scat Pack as a minimum if I were buying a Dodge today.
As for Challenger vs Charger...I know I don't fit in the back of the Charger, but I do in the Challenger (I hit my head on the rear window in the Charger). That said, I can count the times I have...
Seems that some have a bias against electric.
Let's face it, electric cars can also be performance cars.
As for "engine"...I cannot count the number of times I have heard an engine being called a motor. That car has a big motor. Inboard and outboard motors on boats, etc.
So disqualifying a...
Honestly, I don't know if an EV would be right for me or not. First off, it would depend on the range. anything less than 350 miles won't work for me if I want to use it on my road trips (90 percent of my vacations are road trips). 500 miles would be a heck of a lot better.
Next, it has to...

Dodge to Reveal Future Muscle (Next-Gen Challenger) Vehicles During Dodge Speed Week Aug 15-17
I am seeing reports that Dodge could be revealing the next gen Challenger (maybe just the concept) at speed week, possibly August 17 during a "Future Muscle"...
