I really loved the whole S197/S550/S650 journey. A LOT of really great cars have been produced. Mustang really rediscovered its roots and expanded its legendary heritage with both research and development as well as respect and dignity.

What does a matching track matter if you use different tire and wheel sizes. 🤣 The 5th and 6th Gen Camaro’s were very poor products. IF a front engine, rear drive 4-seater could be better balanced then a boxed set up would be great… …MAYBE the GT350 uses a true box setup but on a factory car...

Confirmed, the S650 WILL NOT be a long Model run and it’s longevity will be based on: 1.) S650 Sales and… 2.) 8th Gen Development. A shortened wheelbase would sure be nice for the HALO projects! 😉

I feel that the 2024 is a better design than the 2015. The GT350 and 500 are iconic but I believe this is just a better design altogether. If it wasn’t for the Bullitt and Mach 1, I would say it’s hands down better than the 2018 too. I really loved the 2015 and 2018 refresh too.

I am holding onto the hope that the Fastback may stretch all the way to the tail light panel… if not appear to protrude over the rear panel all together. I think if they redesign the deck lid they maybe they will attempt to make the trunk opening larger than it is now because that is really...

thePill will answer that since he can never be destroyed… The double bubble roof may have new sheet metal but it’s starting to look like the greenhouse will remain the same as the S550. Any changes from the B-pillar back will likely be sheet metal only and very little of the structure changed...

I don’t anticipate many changes to the C-pillar or rear windows. I do anticipate the rear fenders and panel will likely change to reflect the changes in the front. I hope it is more of this. If Ford doesn’t need a large bumper beam in the front then they probably don’t need one in the rear...

You got the GT’s air duct size pretty close. It is SUPER difficult to predict the fascia’s profile based on a wide angle pic of the front but I think it is pretty close. IF the bumper technology remained unchanged, it is possible the “bumper” area protrudes like pictured in the “Outdoors” pic...

Your base model fascia render is probably 98% accurate… I would just ignore everyone at this point. 😉

Not a true coupe like the Notchback BUT, a design similar to 2015’s “Theme C” may be offered or, become standard so Ford can specifically market the “Fastback” as such… …but there is definitely a change being hidden. 😉

Whoever managed the S550/650 program should be running Ford now. This looks incredible!!!

This is a better design than the 2015-2017. The GT350 and 500 were beautiful but as far as the base car and GT go, this is better.

The 2024 Mustang was co-developed with the 2015 and there were many attempts to get people expectations under control. There is a chance that the S650 only last 3 model years. I think the plan is to release for MY24 based on sales performance, a refreshed 2026-‘27 may be worked in for until...
