unless you have personally examined the vehicle and are an expert at determining causes of fires, it is not "definite"
You SUSPECT.
Let's not get ahead of the facts in the situation. Yes, it's very concerning and I would hope that FMC is taking this extremely seriously.
Let's find out...
Markets change.
3-4 years ago, there were chip shortages, massive car shortage, etc. People who needed cars had to wait 6-12 months just to get an allotment they could buy. Manufacturer dealers were competing with buy here/pay here lots for any kind of used car and they would very rarely send...
Honestly, I am surprised it has not lost more.
It's a Mustang, which is a car some owners love to thrash and then replace either with the same car the next model year, or because they did something to the car. Either way, it's not a special edition like the DH, just a regular GT.
Cars...
The Supra looks to be a great car for a lot of people....but I don't fit in it (too tall). I tried at the Milwaukee Auto Show, which was better than most that I have been too recently, and I could not find a position where my head was not cocked at 30-40 degrees or my knees were not in my chest.
In the Toyota Cressida I drove (85), even the mild amount of HP that vehicle had was too much. In any amount of precipitation, that car with good new tires on it could break loose if goosed a bit too much.
Even a Chevy Celebrity (wagon) from the Mid 80s to 1990 had a habit of breaking loose...
So it sounds like both the GT and the DH are capable of being a DD.
I don't do a city commute (WFH) and most of my driving is country lanes or multi-lane freeway, so I am not really worried about traffic killing the mood
Hey all...It's getting to be that point in time again where I am going to start looking at a new vehicle.
About me. Mostly highway driving or some surface streets. Some opportunities for running a twisty road, but nothing like they have out in California...but still better twisties than they...
yep. We don't use them here very much, but there have been times when I could barely see just 50 feet (much less meters) in front of my car.
Delaware is VERY foggy, especially in the winter. All that warm water and cold air just screams cloud formation.
This is exactly the problem.
Come out here to Delaware, where a good portion ( 25 percent according to the Delaware State government website) of our state is wetlands/swamp. There are many mornings when my wife leaves for work and you can't see neighbors house, much less the end of the...
As someone who has back issues (got rear-ended at a light by a class 7 truck while I was in a T-Bird), trust me, having heated seats is a must have for me. The seat must be comfortable for a long drive, and it must be heated so that it can help soothe the back. We use it every time we drive...
yeah. When I travel, I have a select set of AM stations I listen to because I get the best weather/traffic/news from them. (WGN and WBBM in Chicago, GREAT stations). Yeah, I know that supposedly your nav system has all that data, but hearing the drive times and how they are changing can...
A few months ago, I had new radio installed in my F350. When they did it, they accidentally tore the front seat (admittedly, it was a bit dry, but not that bad, someone had a screwdriver in their pocket...).
We looked at a lot of options, but settled on Katzkin as our replacement (no OEM skins...
Since trademarks generally apply to logos, symbols, and branding, I am not sure there would be any issues.
In this instance, Indian Motorcycles seems to be branding their "Dark Horse" as a blacked out motorcycle with mostly matte finishes and some gloss black accents.
Ford is applying it to...
What are you planning on using it for?
How long are you planning on keeping it?
Are you okay with the hit to fuel efficiency?
Is this going to be a fun car or a daily driver
If you are looking at absolute highest performance you can get in a factory setup? Are you going to be tracking your car...
I never said there was cluelessness. I said that the shelby name meant nothing to them. There is no history, no connection. They did not grow up watching him racing. They did not see him do the stuff that made him famous. It's just another corporate name to the newer generations.
Shelby...
TL;DR - Dark horse is not a bad name.
I know that most of us here are...more experienced in life and I include myself in that. But we also need to realize that Mustangs need to appeal to a large range of buyers.
At this point, millennials are buying their second or maybe even their third...
Wow...the absolute hatred on this thread...
Sorry, but I think Ezra hit the nail on the head. Yes, people like "their" Mustang, but lets face it, everyone has their era.
I know people who love fox bodied Mustangs. Some love the 67 mustang shape. Others the G5 body style.
I also know people...
I live in Delaware south of the canal. That means that where I live, there is a tremendous amount of fog that tends to hang around.
I have a BMW and an F350. The BMW has much better headlamps than my F350. They turn when you turn the steering wheel, auto level, they have great projection...
