And that's what's supposed to happen, but mine just spins. It doesn't spin freely. It takes some torque, but it doesn't break loose and I'm afraid to keep twisting and break something.
I'm trying to replace my OEM titanium manual shift knob with a weighted teardrop shift knob from Billetworkz, but I can't get the OEM knob off. It just spins in both directions. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a lock nut of some sort I'm not aware of? I did this same mod to my 2018 GT...
