I didn’t notice any difference at all. And rubber is a lot cheaper and easier than billet so I would bet on that being more the reason than anything else.
Yes I agree with that, It didn’t seem as if it was the EPAS giving out as under hard breaking before turn in and then trying to turn in under trail breaking was the most noticeable point and the system shouldn’t be having issues while the steering wheel is straight.
I could not find 3R’s for the fronts before the event unfortunately so I still had to run the pirellis but I have had the 3R’s on the rear for two events now and they are probably my favourite tire that I have experienced. My father tried The goodyears, and cup 2s on his GT500 and liked the...
Yes I understand the frustration of not being able to keep up with cars like a c7 Z06 in the straights but generally I have found for the most part if you can catch up to a car like that in the corners and are faster in the corners than they are then they will let you by and you will still pull...
Update. Went to Cota for a two day track event and it seems as if the heavy steering issue is gone. I had changed the Camber plates to the Vorshlag Caster Camber Plates and I think the factory ones may have been the issue. The bearing in the factory ones is nowhere near as smooth and everything...
While I am not keeping up exactly as they do pull away a bit at COTA which has the longest back straight I have ever been on they are by no means pulling an enormous gap on me. My father has done really well for himself and since he is as addicted to tracking his car as I am he traded in his...
Really not much different than a GT500, whipple’s have better cooling than a GT500 blower as well and there are lots of GT500s at the track having no issues with getting too hot. I had the privilege of being able to drive my fathers GT500 a few times on track and while the power is pretty...
Didn’t install them today but two weeks ago I installed The Lethal Performance Catless Kooks headers and the Corsa double h pipe on my 2024 Blue ember Dark Horse. I also just did Vorshlag caster camber plates and drilled out the towers as this car is mainly a track car for me, but I didn’t take...
Yes a bunch of people in the GT500 forums use the Vorshlags I have just installed them on the Dark Horse and my brother has had some on his car for this whole season and they are flawless. They are super easily adjustable the way they are designed is superior to all others especially because of...
If you are willing to spend the money I would highly recommend going for the Vorshlag caster camber plates over the steeda ones. Most people would agree they are the top dogs. And they allow for more camber than they steeda ones.
Yeah I have heard people say that E85 will actually smell sweet. I live in Canada though so E85 doesn’t exist besides straight E85 in a barrel which for a HPDE car doesn’t make sense for me because it would cost like a grand a weekend in fuel.
From my understanding there is very minimal difference to power or sound but I cannot truly speak to that as I have never done headers of any kind before this car and I went catless
if you are sitting at a light with the windows down you should be fine you may smell it though depending on which was the wind is blowing. It is definitely very strong. What do you use the car for? if just street driving I think green cats is the only way to go tbh. My car is almost exclusively...
It does stink from anywhere around the car at idle. Can’t smell it at all from inside the car with the windows up and i’ve had someone drive behind me and they couldn’t smell it when driving. How much of a difference from stock for what? Sound, Smell, Tone?
Yeah she is definitely girthy that’s for sure. And yeah I couldn’t get any before the track days unfortunately and I needed new tires as the fronts were done.
