I can only speak for the AMG courses. The tracks they use have plenty of run-off if you make a mistake. They do furnish helmets with speakers in them so you can hear the feedback from the instructor. Beginners have to start with the "Performance" class first. The instructors are excellent...
The AMG Driving Academy has courses at both Laguna Seca and Sonoma. Their "Performance" course is a great starting point. It's a little pricy but it's a first class school, and you'll get lots of seat time. It's a Mercedes event, but anybody can take the course. I've taken most of their...
I had the same question and found an old post (11/18) asking if the rear magneride bump stops need trimming. A reply from a Steeda Tech said there was no need to trim the rear bump stops.
"No need to trim the rear bump stops.
Steeda Tech"
My Dark Horse weighs 3950 with a quarter tank of gas. It has Steeda jacking rails, rear progressive springs which are a little heavier than the stock springs, Stop the Hop kit with subframe brace and 19x10, 19x11 wheels with 275 & 295/35 tires.
I took my car out for a good shake down after installing Steeda progressive springs in the rear. The truck scales were on the way so I weighed it. 3950# I'm undecided about putting the lowering springs in the front.
I did call Tech support, mostly to confirm I had Magnaride springs, but he did confirm the 55 on the driver's side and 54 on the passenger side as you said Krisk. Of course it was easy to see compared with the stock springs' twist. I have the Stop the Hop kit and ended up having to take the...
Thanks for your time Krisk. I hate to be a PIA, but going back to my FD054 & FD055, when you say left for the 54 does it go on the drivers side or passenger side?
Thanks for that. One more thing, Steeda's instructions say the one marked LHW goes on the passenger's side and RHW goes on the driver's side. To me LH is left hand or drivers side and RH is right hand or the passenger side. Do they have it backward or do I? LOL
"NOTE: The rear springs are...
As I explained, mine don't have those part numbers. This is what I ordered...
1 × Steeda Mustang MagneRide Sport Progressive Lowering Springs (2015-2026)
And this is what was delivered...There are no other markings.
I'm about to install my rear Steeda magnaride sport springs. I know they are side specific but can't figure out which one goes where. They are labeled FD054-RSA and FD055-RSA. Both have date codes of 07/24. There are no other markings. Installation instructions call for part numbers ending...
I have a set of the same springs waiting for me to install them, and they have the same difference in gap as yours. It would be interesting to hear what Steeda says about it. They must have a reason.
I just finished installing Steeda jacking rails on my Dark Horse without handling package today. Next I was going to put in the sport springs which are sitting in my garage, but I couldn't get my jack under the rails in front. There's barely 3" of ground clearance! The springs would drop that...
