That’s why I came into their dealership because of the reviews I saw. Unfortunately, this very expensive experience is an eye opener. If I ever do come back to them for anything, I’d be very specific on what I want. Before I left they quoted the basic oil change as $180. Still more expensive...

That’s what I thought too. Plus an actual service. But it turns out they put in those “premium” ac conditioner stuff and some other bs. Before I left I asked for their price on “the works” and it was $180. Used to pay around $100 in TN.

That’s exactly what it feels like right now. And what makes it worse is, the owner of the damn dealership has a GTD out in the showroom floor because he’s ran out of space in his garage. All these useless add-ons paid for that GTD, and I chipped in 🥲

Went to the dealership to get service done. Advisor showed me this printed out “menu” for “my vehicle”. Me thinking it would be substantial since it’s 15k miles, went ahead. Sat down and looked at my service manual and was like, something was off. Went back and got a copy of the “menu” and...

They did say that this was just based on the exterior damages. It’ll go up once they take it apart.

This is what I’m afraid of. I could theoretically buy the parts and replace them myself, surely there are videos on youtube, but what about the parts that are damaged inside that I don’t have the skills for.

they haven’t appointed one, and I’d already found one that seems to do quality work so I’ll go ahead and get in touch with them this week.

Yeah, I kinda figured it would. But then again, that’s what the insurance is for right? It sucks that aside from paying a deductible, you end up paying a lot more for using what you’ve been paying for anyway.

Yeah, I got 2 quotes, one was at $7200 and the other was at $7600. Both had their hourly rates at like $70-100. 😢

Yeah, filed a police report as well. They said it’s likely they won’t find the person who took off so 🤷🏻‍♂️. Im just annoyed it happened. I’m supposed to drive it to NC for the unleashed experience 🥲
