I had the similar issue two weeks ago, took the car to dealership they said ABS system needed an update, it hasn't come back after the service.

They didn't say anything about PCM, they said ABS needed to updated and they did that. I haven't seen the light since Monday, hopefully it stays that way.

Update: Dealership looked at the car today and said they needed to update the ABS system. I guess somehow Powertrain Malfunction warning is related to ABS. Hopefully, light will not come back on again.

Frustrating for sure, how many miles you have on yours?

Finally tints are done, ended up with 35% ceramic tint on windows and rear windshield.
