Long story. It was built in September and ~2 weeks ago I was told Ford was scrapping the VIN and I needed to reorder. For generously offered to honour the original MSRP, which is interesting since the MSRP did not change.

If it doesn't happen often then Ford should at least compensate the customer for the inconvenience. They offered exactly $0. They did offer to honour the price, which is strange considering it didn't go up (and might have gone down a bit tbh).

My 20 year old son kept calling me out on not using the parking brake until he distilled it in my head. So I've changed my _old_ habit of not using the parking brake. I still put it in gear though because .... habits :)

My driving school training strongly emphasized not putting the car in neutral when stopped (instead, keeping it in first - ready to go). it was 20 years ago but I still abide by that. So my auto-stop won't ever engage.

Yes, they move the date by two weeks. So for two weeks, they told me it was scheduled to be built by 11/28. They said that up until 11/28. And today (11/29), they said 12/18 is the date. This has been happening since the beginning of October.
