While negligible you agree its still a factor as well as all oil is draining back into the pan so while it's not cold and viscous it needs to be pumped through the engine again. Also there is the initial drivetrain shock of starting up vs the engine humming along. Start/stop is in place solely...
From what I read majority of engine wear occurs during startup.... So running around for your errands and your engine shuts off and starts 15x while waiting for lights vs that initial startup is that much more wear on the drivetrain.
It may have an enhanced battery and starter module but that doesn't mean the engine internals itself are any different. Starting and stopping the engine 2-10x more than normal every day can't be good for the motor imo. We had an escape with the start stop that was the first button I pushed...
The real shame is there are people wanting to purchase a car from Ford but Ford says the dealer doesn't have an allocation so they won't build it. This imo puts the dealer in a relentless loop because they don't have allocations a majority of people will just order the car from a different...
If they can get charging down to 5-10 minutes to full with a decent range and use nuclear power to charge them then I could see it becoming adopted at a faster rate. But then you also run into the issue of making that many batteries not to mention they don't exactly recycle well means it's still...
I live a few minutes from starved rock nice area but Illinois is a tax death trap. We are trying to leave but with the prices of homes and interest at the moment sadly it seems we will be waiting a few years for things to settle down but I'm itching to leave badly.
Im in illinois we pay at minimum 6.5% sales tax up to about 10% depending where you live and then our tags are 151 a year and probably about to go up again
Not having orange is the reason I didn't go into debt for the 24 lol. Really hope they bring an orange for 25 and not cyber orange that's more yellow imho
Little more digging and it appears https://www.mach1trackattack.com/ is also registered with GoDaddy so that's more promising.. looking at the xml sitemap it appears to be cloned directly as a placeholder. So maybe it is legit I guess time will tell
That domain is registered at GoDaddy and the photo appears pretty basic for Ford tbh. Ford's domain is registered by corporate domain.
Honestly I think it's a troll by someone but hopefully I'm wrong
