Technically no i don't qualify. The main caveat being they need 3 attempts at 1 repair. But... if they create new problems (like a cut dash , seat, console, and broken display... and repair those, then no i don't qualify. Id rather keep the 1 year options and color.
On top of a update that causes issues like the display being replaced, and now another recall for possible water intrusion to the bcm.
Side note it was at the dealership for 9 months from the dealership's continued damage to the car and soft materials.
I would not be surprised if a new apim is needed due to the lack of support. When I had my 18 mustang and wanted to bypass the anc for a clean bass signal or was determined my guys that the install solder points were missing otherwise the plugs were there.
That particular situation needed to...
Thank you for explaining.
How does ford have it work for the vehicles that offer the front park-assist camera without the 360?
Is it just a matter of replacing the harness and enabling it on the apim or is there another module?
What do you mean newer vehicles? All newer fords have both.
IPMA handles advanced features like lane-keeping, traffic sign recognition, pre-collision warnings—leveraging the forward-facing windshield camera.
IPMB aggregates multiple camera inputs (front/rear/side) and feeds video to the...
You need an IPMB that would connect between the rear camera and the apim to switch video from what I've seen and read. Also camera has to be a digital one compatible with sync 4 .
For those curious to know. After speaking to Naviks, they still need to confirm that their front camera module will work with the 24 mustang. Has its hoping it'll be ready in April. Depends on his access to the car...
And that's what i need to find out.
From what I can tell, the IPMB is there the camera input would connect to. Kinda like a hub and/or switch.
Right now my car is at the dealership for recall.
Looking like this may work as i look deeper.

After seeing the 25 bronco sport is getting Aux Switches , why not the mustang? They share the same overhead part.
Looks like it'd be a parts bin job to me.
I was looking up front cameras on Fords and how to add them. I came across that ford adds an IPMB for cars with a front or 360 cameras.
Does anyone know or can find out if it's possible to add one from a Bronco Sport ? From what I've seen with other Fords all they needed was the oem front...
Still waiting on the transmission work, but was told they're isn't a fix for the blank screen yet and that the rattle and noise i brought up was from back tack welds supposedly...
So the dealership is currently saying it has a transmission issue (I suspect tcm based of the cel) but it will be there a while. Found out there is supposedly a dealership update(not OTA) to the gauge screen for screens going blank (which they specifically said was not a recall).
