I didn't notice any steering feel difference between S550 magneride vs. standard suspension, and so I doubt it has any notable effect on steering feel in the S650.
I think that's the general consensus regarding the steering rack itself being 'faster' vs. S550.
It's a flaw that most owners recognize with the S550. No surprise it carries over to the S650 in some form. Therefore, any 'reviewer' who doesn't comment on such a flaw either isn't picking up on...
My guess is some combination of RTR's use of lowering springs, sway bars, wider wheels, stickier tires with narrower and stiffer sidewalls all probably help make it feel less worse - because the same applies to the S550.
TheSmokingTire makes a similar complaint - steering is precise but zero feeling.
It's a weak point in the S550 but I'm surprised to hear Throttle House say it's worse now.
