The D4 in my 18 was such a POS I didn’t really drive the car, I hated it and regretted buying a M6. 3 years and didn’t break 10k miles on it and 6k of that was trips back and forth to SoCal. I did the Mantic clutch, MGW shifter and Amsoil fluid, SS line, still had issues. I know I know DrIvEr...
I believe that is because if you look at just about any vehicle with an available option for big screen infotainment or gauge cluster it’s super popular. I don’t think it’s very sports car/pony car. But right now for what ever reason people select that stuff. It could’ve been integrated much...
I think seeing it this way without anything else I agree. But when everything is put together I bet it’s a way better car. To me the difference between the 17 and 18 was significant enough that the 18 was a much better car.enough to trade a 17 in for a 18?? Idk, but I for sure could see me...
So now that some hours have passed, what I see on SM and other pages, including Camaro, C8 and Supra pages is over general approval. It seem the most critical/hate is come from the Mustang side of things. Is it because we are more attached to our cars that are now the previous generation...
sure, every one has their tastes, like to me mustangs were ugly AF until the 18. I never wanted one or cared for one until then. All the 15-17 owners hated it, then many traded up to it.
I really like this one, especially the Dark Horse, but I doubt I’d sell my GR Supra for one..
I am not surprised about the “hate”. When the 18 was reviled all the 15-17 owners didn’t care for it since their new hotness became the old busted. Seems that how all the 18-22 owners are acting now...
I hope so, maybe I’d jump back into a Mustang. The biggest POS trans I’ve ever owned was that MT82. I know all of them are not “bad” I drove a few friends that didn’t have issues. But mine sucked. Wouldn’t shift quickly over 6300 and even with the Mantic only was quick 90% of the time.
Eh, I’ll...
