Not knowing the exact voltage of your battery prior to charging makes an accurate time to full charge hard to determine. A 70Ah battery can take up to 50 hours to charge with a 1.25 amp maintainer.
Not trying to start a debate. If a given State Police agency is going to outfit their fleet with special purpose vehicles such as the Mustang they should opt for the PP. The officers who risk their lives driving these Mustang's in high speed pursuits deserve the upgraded handling and braking...
In cases where the battery is substantially low an appropriately sized charger should be used. A battery maintainer/tender is designed to keep a fully charged (or close) battery in tip top condition.
Changed the oil & filter (5W-50 Motorcraft full synthetic). My 2024 is a 3-season weekend warrior. It does get driven hard when it comes out to play. Seeing as it is supercharged and driven hard I will be changing the oil frequently. 1500 miles tops between oil & filter changes. Bought new in...
Not being negative here but $20.000 will not cover your list of upgrades. Referring to materials and parts only, no labor since your going the DIY route which by the way I highly recommend.
Edit add - You can build an awesome GT + PP + 20k if you pick and choose from your list and drop some...
Better to stall at low RPM than "slipping the clutch". Kudos to you for teaching your son how to drive a manual.
My long ago late grandfather taught me how to drive a manual in a 1970 F-100 with a granny gear. My grandfather was good man and took my less than stellar 1st attempts well. I know...
Don't hold me to this but if I remember correctly it is push down. I had to disconnect it approx. 6-months ago to remove the front bumper (FP-Whipple S.C. install). That darn thing was hard to get disconnected. Got tired of fighting it and removed the front bumper all the while supporting it...
As @MNPony stated - Remove appropriate wheel well liner screws and reuse. If I remember correctly there are 2 screws (1 each side) that are almost to short but ultimately worked in the end.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Hopefully, Santa leaves a present under the tree for everyone's Mustang.
Spend time with family, friends and enjoy their company!
I purchased a Ford Performance DH HP spoiler from LMR approx. 2 months ago for $975.00 + tax.. Agree with above post..... OEM parts if able. One thing to note. The FP version DH HP spoiler & gurney flap are listed under (1) part number which doesn't match the OEM number(s). In other words, if a...
I have the same problem. A year or so ago I upgraded to the Dark Horse rear diffuser and under belly panel. Shortly thereafter I noticed the rear end got dirty quicker. Appears the aero design on the DH rear under belly panel speeds up the "getting dirty" process. The rear would get dirty prior...
FYI - The following is meant to be helpful.......
They told you it would be fixed before it's sold. That doesn't make sense to me. That statement in itself implies zero urgency to sell this Mustang. That too makes no sense to me. I could be wrong on this but it appears to me their intent is to...
A search shows 2 open recalls - The info displayed shows both recalls are for the BCM water intrusion issue. Appears the first recall was prior to a fix. The same recall showed up about one month later when a fix became available.
I'm baffled as to why the selling Ford Dealer has not addressed...
So true on the plate. Oh that Mystichrome paint! - You'd have to run fast enough to leave your Mystichrome paint in the dust for this to have a happy ending!
Added 12/18 - Elaborating on above. Even if the plate was a puzzle the Mystichrome paint would make ID very easy. Just adding to the...
