I'm going to repost the video I did for those people who have not had the opportunity to remove the inner fender to see some of what s occurring.

In 1000 miles the brace that comes off my K member was down to bare metal, the chassis paint is chipped down to primer, stones were/are wedged in between the sheet metal of the fender and the chassis, stones are wedged in along the pinch mold and plastic rocker trim, stones collect in the...
I doubt Ford will do anything about this until it affects them financially in some way. I had high hopes that I would have an opportunity to discuss the issue with a technical person but they seem to have a strong first line of goal tenders that prevent any such thing.

The fiberglass I used worked well and then I molded a piece of Kydex over that. The Kydex is Super easy to do if you have the wheel well out. You could do it in place with the wheel off but attaching it is a different matter
I’ve posted to my Chanel a total of three videos about this, the one shows the issue, the second shows the damage when I removed the inner fender well and the third was the fiberglass infill.

Our dealer only got an acknowledgment from a rep “that they could see that it could b a problem for car in the north”- no other information. I’ve heard.
We just bought the the Velgen VF5's X 19. I was planning on 285 35 19 on front 10" wheels and 305 35 19 on rear 11" I believe the fronts have a 34mm offset and the rear 52.
Our dealer got back to us with regard to their contact at Ford who acknowledges "this could be a problem" but offered no helpful information other than it's been noted and will be "looked into"
