  1. Hard water stains on windshield

Yeah I've never seen a windshield with this film on it. I also forgot to mention that I have a clear bra on the front that came with the car. Feels like the same material as the stuff on the windshield.
  2. Hard water stains on windshield

I don't think I can apply any of those products over the protective film that the dealership installed. Another poster replied to my original post saying that the film I have on my windshield is rather finicky, requiring extra care and maintenance. I did purchase Xpel which they recommended...
  3. Hard water stains on windshield

I wonder how difficult it would be to have it removed myself?
  4. Hard water stains on windshield

Yes, the film is only on the windshield. In fact, if you tap it with a fingernail, you can feel the texture of the film, kinda rubbery.
  5. Hard water stains on windshield

I'm praying it works. If it doesn't, I might either contact the dealership to remove it or just take it off myself. I simply can't drive safely with it how it is.
  6. Hard water stains on windshield

Yes, you are correct. Auto windshields have a plastic layer in the glass, but what I have is some sort of plastic film on the outside. It does great for preventing cracking from happening due to rock strikes, but looks terrible due to the hard water stains binding into the film. In my opinion...
  7. Hard water stains on windshield

Yeah but the protective plastic film on it prevents pretty much any and all cleaning. My windshield is so terrible, it's like driving with a windshield that looks like your shower glass door.
  8. Hard water stains on windshield

Another poster suggested Xpel because of the film. I'm going to try this.
  9. Hard water stains on windshield

Wow! Thank you for looking into it! I was actually reading a bit into that xpel stuff earlier.
  10. Hard water stains on windshield

Funnily enough, I never paid for this film to be installed. I mean, it's saved me from a cracked windshield no doubt. But at what cost
  11. Hard water stains on windshield

Hey I appreciate that! I think I'm going to remove the film. It's making it really difficult to drive at night. I can't explain it but, have you ever seen one of those glass doors on a shower stall? You know how after awhile the hard water stains set in, making it difficult to both see out of...
  12. Hard water stains on windshield

I'm 100% there is a protective film. Have you ever had a plastic film screen protector on your phone and you when you dropped it, you can see where the impact area is because the film kinda sorta blisters? That's what my windshield looks like.
  13. Hard water stains on windshield

I can try and get a picture. And yes, the film came with the car straight off the dealer lot.
  14. Hard water stains on windshield

Hi! I've had my 25' EB for around 5 months. About a week ago it rained while I was at work. My windshield now has hard water stains that are all but impossible to remove. One thing I noticed though, is that there is some sort of plastic film protector on the exterior of the windshield, which...
  15. Saved drive mode, Sport mode, no longer being saved

Hey there! I wanted to give an update. I went into the system and once again added my color theme and cluster layout. So far when I fire up my EB, it starts on Normal with the changes I have saved. Here's hoping it stays like this and doesn't default back to the stock cluster gauge layout and...
  16. Saved drive mode, Sport mode, no longer being saved

Hi! I took have had my 25' EB for around 2.5 months! Same issues you are describing has happened to my display. Perhaps we got an update and it reset stuff?
  17. Saved drive mode, Sport mode, no longer being saved

It threw me because I thought it was starting off in sport mode. I'm just curious as to why it kept my sport mode presets and applied it to normal mode. Oh well.
  18. Saved drive mode, Sport mode, no longer being saved

It either remembered sport mode or was defaulting into normal mode with the same color theme and gauge cluster layout as sport mode, which is why I was confused.
  19. Saved drive mode, Sport mode, no longer being saved

I'm going to mess around with the settings this weekend and test some stuff out.
