Very good point actually. Not an engineer here, BUT, with the heat extractor/hood vent, wouldn’t you want less air entry than outlet, to create some kind of vacuum and increase the air intake/suction ?! And by that, heat extraction as a result ?! I might be onto something…. Or be completely off...
