For me, I don't mind waiting as I am not a fan of the some of the current front end design choices. If a Cobra / Boss variant comes along that has a different design (I really like the GT3 front for example), it may spark my interest.
If they are the same junk Pirelli tires that came with the s550s, do yourself a favor and do tons of burnouts and then go buy some new Michelin Pilot Sport 4s
Complete guess, maybe something to do with a euro spec mustang and it was cheaper to just make it part of the wire harness setup and terminate rather than having two variants?
As already mentioned, its a few factors in my opinion:
- Mustang is no longer a 'best bang for your buck' car. It outpriced itself
- Minimal changes from the s550 to s560 at first glance
-Weird style choices to some (I still can't get hooked on the new look), including the poorly designed...
I didn't really think of the resell value being an issue.
I do currently have had a Roush Catback installed (myself) for about 2 years now without any issues. With that said, i did install the rear plastic winglets as well last year but haven't noticed any degradation yet
Has anyone noticed an abundance of absence from Roush regarding a Mustang variant? Of course they released a supercharger for the new coyote, but wheres their Mustang? Were they this slow to the draw on the s550 as well? Saleen, RTR and Shelby has significantly beaten them to the punch....
Thank you as always Zach! Curious to see what you guys offer whenever the next Cobra comes out, I'm sick of local dealers trying to screw people with ADMs...
At least I'm not the only one, it sounds like a design flaw. They need some sort of durable foam or something between the guard and fender to prevent rock / gravel build up.
I'm surprised they are taking this long, they probably have the closest relationship with Ford; I wonder what the hold up is. Heck, even the financially unstable Saleen was able to push out something.... 😅
As someone who has been using them for 3+ years on my s550, my feeling about these are mixed. They look great and have the exact profile I was looking for, however rocks often get caught and trapped in the gap between the guard and wheel well. The top clip also tends to always detach from the...
One of my biggest pet-peeves on modern cars is how the cheap looking matte plastic keeps creeping up on the trims, especially in the rear. I would have thought with the s650 they would have taken the rear painted bumper lower, but instead went the complete opposite; not a fan of the rear AT ALL!
Thank you for your work as always! I am usually super quiet and reserve my judgement until release, but dang they are going the wrong direction! It looks like a cross between a current gen mustang and charger... :) . Let's hope the variations (GT, Boss, etc) get meaner and leaner looking grills
