Was just thinking the other day about this. I bought mine off the lot and I'm usually a "get it as cheap as possible" type of person. I dont generally care about wheels and such so the night pony was a waste of money on paper. Now, I'm so glad a bought one with it. It makes the car look so...
The only thing I dont like about the entire car is the lack of physical HVAC knobs/controls. Maybe because I live in Florida but I need those fans on full blast when I get in. I then proceed to spend the next 20 minutes backing off the fan and adjusting the temperature on a slightly delayed...
Thats all I do. Wasn't something I was really familiar with until the last year or so. (although I did always use Exxon in performance vehicles so I guess I sort of already was). We have Exxon and Shell here that carry it. Somehow the Exxon is the cheapest here even with the spike in prices.
Oh whoops. I wasn't going to challenge your assessment since I never drove one but I was surprised when you said those Cobras were slow.
Makes total sense now.
After reviewing the advice from everyone, option A and C on your fix is pretty much what I've planned on. The blower will be a down the road option.
I have been purposely adjusting my driving style to accommodate the higher rpm style of driving over the last week or so. Such a crazy...
Sorry I'm not familiar with the Soler device. I'm assuming your referring to the bluetooth throttle controller I saw when I googled it? I remember reading something about throttle controllers on my old 4-Runner being popular but I never ended up getting it. I cant believe Ford would make the...
I agree. Having the Mustang has really forced me to change my driving style to achieve that go-fast feel. Not necessarily a bad thing, but just different. I never watched the RPM's so close with the Camaro or my Challenger before that.
I'm glad to hear its normal for us Camaro-to-Mustang converts and not just me! That 6.2 was a beast. Other than the motor and chassis though, the Mustang is a huge improvement in most ways.
You guys are really making me want to do these 4.09 gears...
What kind of gas mileage did you guys really get out of them on the highway? 75-85 mph on average.
Ok this is good input. I think my next steps is to go test drive a GT w/PP and see what the 3.73 feels like. I like the idea of the 4.10 gears but if this job prospect thats 45 min away works out, I may have to hold off.
Thanks everyone.
Just some reading I did while researching. I can't remember exactly and I'm not sayings its right. I clearly prefer the acceleration of the 6.2 personally based on my question. Much more prefer Mustang for almost everything else though. I appreciate the incite though.
It's not...but it feels it. I think I know why and how to fix it, but I would like some smarter people than me to sanity check my logic. I'm not the most knowledgable with gearing so any help is appreciated.
For comparison sake, I am coming from a 2018 Camaro 1SS (non-1LE) 6-speed. I...
If it were described correctly to me, it seems to be a term used for the "best" in any category. I think it started with video games though. Now its slang. I guess the real "S-Tier" would be the GTR. I still appreciate the compliment though!
They were causing irrevocable harm for me so I stopped anything more complicated than Mario Bros about 10 years ago. I never heard S-Tier but I'm sure I would have had I kept at it.
