I got my spoiler from Hong Kong faster than the one from California. It only took three days. Auto Addict shipped theirs ground, so that one took like a week.
So far, so good. I think the heat helped cure the adhesive sooner. I ran it through a touchless car wash the day after I installed it and it has rained the last two days, and it's still bonded perfectly. As far as stability while driving, I've only reached 90-95 and didn't notice anything...
Just got it. Looks great. This one comes with two gurney flaps, one solid black and one smoked. Bolts are black. It has the same branding as the one in the video, however it is much smaller and more on the underside:
Got delayed to today, and I'm STILL waiting on it. Originally said between 1-4pm, then before 7, and still hasn't been delivered. As soon as I get it, I'll let you know how it looks. Sorry man.
Has anyone installed the poly version of their splitter extension? I just ordered it, but couldn't find much on installation or performance. They suggest not going over 110 without rods, which isn't really an issue, but I was hoping someone could provide more real world feedback.
Sorry, it got delayed to the 3rd for "weather." The first one I ordered was from Auto Addict, which is the one I'm still waiting on. The w2 spoiler is the one I installed.
did you have to drill into the spoiler or the trunk?
The spoiler. The pieces connect to each other using three bolts, then you hide the hardware with plastic plates. Those plates have two dowels that should go into holes, but the holes weren't drilled out. The indentations were there to guide...
I had the flat blade/ lip spoiler originally. I've only received the w2 spoiler so far, and it didn't have any branding like that thankfully. I wouldn't have put it on if it did.
I'm pretty happy with it. They were quick to respond to my emails, but they didn't initially say anything about a delay until I asked.
A few things about this spoiler: I had to drill the holes for two of the covers' alignment dowels. You also won't need to remove the spoiler module since it...
First order arrived from w2. No instructions, but pretty straightforward. The gurney flap is a solid black plastic piece, not smoked like some of the others I've seen. There's no branding anywhere on it. It's attached to the spoiler module with automotive tape, then bolted on the ends just like...
Yeah. Ordered from AA back in July expecting delivery sometime in September. I kept an eye out for other dealers in the meantime, which is where I found w2. They said they could deliver within a week of ordering, but that didn't happen. Now they're both arriving within days of each other.
I...
Finally got tracking numbers for my two orders (Auto Addict and w2bodykits.) One is coming from Anaheim and the other from Hong Kong. It'll be interesting to see if there are any variations between the two.
If your local dealer can't find it, they're not looking hard enough. A quick Google search is all it takes. It's different than the S550 PP spoiler, and the OEM runs about $1700.
2024 PP spoiler
Just wait for an aftermarket spoiler that should only be a few hundred bucks.
