I was thinking similar re: Magneride. However, he is not a small dealer. He runs three large dealerships in Central Florida. I know. “Large” is a relative term.

Ford Chat has only given me "Unscheduled - Clean" as of 1/31/24. I called Ford Marketing Program HQ today and got only the same.

I just heard back from my sales rep. Their inventory manager stated that GT Performance Packages and Manual Transmissions are "slow to the line" - whatever that means. However, they did bump my priority from 5 to 1. I'm out two months with no schedule.

As I don't have my S650 (Yet), I'm having a hard time seeing much of a difference in the pictures except for the ones with the deflector installed. Bottom line, if I can't get my dealer to PING Ford on this issue, I will definitely be purchasing and installing the fix that @diyvan.com has produced.

Thanks. So, this problem has been around for a long time. Sad that Ford won't either explain why it's there or acknowledge the problem.

So glad you produced this fix. I am getting close to cancelling my order due to this and Ford's lack of response. There are a few other problems I have been reading about, but Ford's lack of response [to me] is very telling. My order hasn't even been scheduled yet. If I decide to not cancel...

It's obvious [to me] the scheduling is not "first come, first served" assuming not a parts availability issue. I'm aware of at least three orders placed after mine that have already been scheduled.

Description does not indicate Velcro on the bottom. That would be a great idea. My bad. The video shows short Velcro strips.

I'm new to this process not having ordered a vehicle since 1966. What gets me is the backlog of S650s waiting to be scheduled. This reports the January sales are down from December, but so is production. That doesn't make sense to me especially as the factory was shut down between Christmas...
