With FORScan you have a 2-month trial period.
You cannot currently purchase a license, and it's all there on their website.

Just guessing, but them getting out of Ukraine would resolve this.
This October service update from Wallenius Wilhelmsen is most likely still valid.

October 9, 2024...
Steve, its certain there would be a low voltage cutout to refelct state of charge, but I'd expect the "default" timeout duration to be fixed. Some numpty made a vague comment on YT that the duration could be set in Forscan. Of course, it was a typical pointless YT comment with no actual details.
Not so Stoopid?
For some reason I though this would stop the double-honk when exiting the vehicle, having just shut it down.
But, nope.
Because I'm conscious of my surroundings, double-honking at 06:30 in the morning is not cool. Even more so when a Quiet Start schedule has been set...
Look on the bright side, it could have been worse, at #1. :giggle:

Yes, it's a 2-Ch system.

Front + rear cameras.
I'm especially paranoid about idiots behind me, given my daily before the RAV4 was a '98 Mitsubishi Delica van, which was written off 4 years ago by a junkie...
I was always amused when people here would tag what is essentially a social media rep with technical, warranty, or sales related issues.
All that was posted was just some generic "That's a beautiful car, thanks for sharing, and being part of the Ford family". etc 🤮
Which of course would give a...
Just as well your Dark Horse will be an auto.
.... oh wait. :giggle:
I'll be able to help you with distinguishing problem soon.... I really must get around to fitting the Raceseng weighted shift knob, that arrived over 12 months ago. :wait:
Should be no confusion with this one!
So...
On DFB's advice, I also got the Uberflex 1/4" hose and an SGS28 gun.
https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/whats-in-alms-garage.161630/#post-3285649
I had (stupidly) originally bought the SGS28 with the Gerni hose fitting, to use with the OEM Gerni hose.
It didn't take long to...
I didn't look at the ODO at the time, but can back-calculate it happened around 1,530 km +/-.
Absolutely no hint of any issues prior to yesterday.
Have my Piece of Mind service in 2 weeks.... will be asking questions then!
What was your experience with the screen failure?
How long was it down for?
Did it appear to do a full-reset (with any re-animation?), or was it just the back lighting?
Firmware updates can only work around poor hardware designs so much.
It certainly didn't look like a full-on IPC reset to me, as if it were power cycled.
ie; the speedo and tacho did not run through it's start-up animation etc.
The backlight just died momentarily.
That tends to make the...
After 11+ weeks of ownership, I experienced the IPC going to black for the first time, yesterday.
My immediate reaction was "Oh f##k, here we go!" :curse:
However, it came back up again after 1 second or so.
May have been 2 seconds at the most... didn't even get the opportunity to consider...
No worries. :like:
You'll find the S650 detects low battery volts and puts itself into a power-saving mode, where current-consuming features are disabled. I've noticed this when I haven't driven the vehicle for a few weeks, whilst checking the FordPass app. The remote connectivity is shut...
Rear View Mirror USB Port
With a dash cam ready to install, I wanted a definitive answer on how long the USB port in the rear view mirror assembly remained powered up, after switching the vehicle off.
This was important to know, as it affects parking record modes and how the dash cam's power...
Stoopid #2
Being my first Mustang, I was thoroughly overwhelmed with the vehicle settings and quirks in the first few weeks of ownership. I learnt what I needed to know, and since then it's been a slow drip feed of learning on an as-required basis.
The thing that annoyed me the most, second...
Stoopid #1
This was a stoopid idea!
The perception of "saving time" by cleaning two cars at once.
Won't be doing this again.
It''s perfectly manageable to brake buster four wheels with the cannon, get in there with the wheel mitt, and rinse, one vehicle at a time.
Not so bad...
