  2. S650 Whipple drag strip results

I was referring to the mid to late 1960's, and into the early 1970's. Most Pro Stock cars in the late 60's were running in the 9's. My SS 396 Nova (375 hp) ran 12.80's, but it was modified a little. Today's cars are much faster. :like:
  3. S650 Whipple drag strip results

An 11 second street car back in the day was extremely fast. A 12 second street car was fast. You also didn't have everyone telling you what they think you should or shouldn't do to make car faster on a public forum. 😉
  4. Review: Whipple Supercharged Dark Horse Mustang Tested

    Well, that was impressive . . . 😉

  6. OEM Brake Pads

I've got the carbon ceramic Power Stop pads on my car and they're great. Much less dust than OEM pads. I also used Power Stop pads on my Z06's.

  9. It’s been a while since other drivers throw compliments to us on our car…..kinda’ nice, you know?

Coming from a '19 Z06, I was pleasantly surprised at the number of compliments and "thumbs up" I get from people. I was driving to church this past Sunday morning when a guy in a VW SUV goes by me and gives me a thumbs up. I get a lot of compliments on the Vapor Blue at stoplights.
  10. Engine dress up. Is it too much?

I don't think it looks bad. I've given thought to adding some things to my engine bay, but I'm at the point in my life where less is more. I went the carbon fiber route on my Corvettes, which cost a fortune. Going to leave the Mustang alone and enjoy it for what it is.
  11. Bought a 2024 GT Premium as my first car (I’m 15 and just getting started in the car world)

I think it's very cool that you have a new Mustang. What an exciting time in your life. I'm 76 years old and my only advice is to be careful. Things can happen very quickly when you're driving. You're young and hopefully have an amazing life ahead of you, but never forget you're not invincible...
  12. To Spoil, or Not to Spoil...

Spoiler delete on my car. Personally, I prefer the cleaner look. Just a matter of personal preference.
  13. A Grand Day of Cruising in Southern Utah

Beautiful scenery and car. Awesome pictures. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like several of us on this forum are living vicariously through you. :like:
  14. What is your go-to place online to shop for your s650?

I agree. It seems to me that if something is back ordered or shipping is going to be delayed, it should be noted when ordered. Personally, I've had nothing but great service from Lethal. I ordered PowerStop brake pads from Summit Racing this past winter and part of my order wasn't in stock. I...

I just finished dinner, but you guys are making me hungry. Crawdad omlette sounds really good. I'm like a goat. I'll eat anything. :like:

Chicago guy here. Forgive my ignorance, but are mudbugs like crawfish?
  17. 2025 GT Premium Shadow Black Ceramic Coat - New Pics

Lookin' good. :like: Love the black, just wouldn't have the patience to keep it clean.
  18. ZR1X Announced

I'm guessing a fairly well optioned ZR1X will go for over $200k. It'll also be interesting to see how much dealers are going to charge over sticker.
  19. Strut tower brace plate

    Mine doesn't have one either.
