Ordered Eradispeed slotted/drilled rotors from Lethal Performance on Saturday. Hopefully I'll have everything installed before my car goes to the body shop in April to have the calipers painted.

I've had quite a few carbon fiber pieces on my cars over the years and personally I'm kind of tired of the look. Does anyone make smooth plastic tubes that run from the CAI to the air filters? Most of what I've seen looks like they're made out of a flexible vinyl or rubber products.

The good news is that my car is in storage and probably won't be back on the road until April. I'm also replacing the rotors with Eradispeed rotors. I already have an appointment at my body shop at the end of April to have my calipers repainted. As long as I can get my new rotors and pads on...

Rear pads were shipped by Summit and will be delivered today. Front pads are apparently back ordered and will not be delivered until 3/14.

Do you have a favorite "regular" tire dressing? I use Meguiar's Endurance, but I've found it tends to sling a little. I do like how it shines. I don't drive in the rain, so anything I use holds up pretty well. Unfortunately, time and old age have taken a toll on my shoulder, so I tend to stay...

Summit just charged my credit card, so I'm guessing my pads are ready to ship.

I agree. :like: I had had one of my Z06's brought home by my dealer in an enclosed trailer. It was another January delivery. The dealership is about 10 miles from our house. Even if was further and I had to pay for it, it beats getting salt on a brand-new car. There's so much on the roads here...

I ordered PowerStop ceramic pads from Summit Racing a few weeks ago. They were backordered and won't be in for a few more weeks.

To be honest, I don't worry about that stuff anymore. We are tracked in one way or another everywhere we go. Whether it's data from our cars, computers, cell phones, IPass, security cameras, traffic cameras, etc., etc. it's part of today's world. Maybe I'm just old and naive, but I don't care.

I had a problem with my GT right off the bat and it spent several days at the dealer trying to figure out why it wouldn't start. That being said, I also had a problem with my '19 Corvette Z06 and it spent 3 weeks at the dealer having the lifters replaced. I hadn't owned a Ford performance car...
