  1. "Revised chassis tuning"

    Complete marketing BS.
  2. Base Manual with 3.55 vs PP with 3.73

Not really. Most in a blind test would not be able to tell the difference. If you are looking for the quickest acceleration, get the A10.
  3. High end Ford floor mats?

Itā€˜s Ford after all, expectations should be fairly low. And to the OP, if they were really nice and you would just remove them like your Subaru, what’s the point? Not flaming, just genuinely curious. IMO, all fabric mats will wear a hole where your heel sits below the accelerator and look like...
  4. new to the forum with questions on dark horse engine

    Gotta love the marketing folks…
  5. Thoughts? Airbrushed Hood Pad!

    Couldn’t resist.
  6. Front Fenders

Both engines have forged con rods. The alloy and forging is different in the DH. Not something noticeable or even necessary as the engines are basically identical. One would presume the DH engine is a precursor to a forced induction version. On the other hand, the DH doesn’t have forged pistons...
  7. My Search Is Over

If anyone is in love with that scheme, Masano Ford in Shillington PA by me has one as well. https://www.tommasanoford.com/inventory/new-2024-ford-mustang-dark-horseā„¢-premium-rwd-fastback-1fa6p8r09r5503894/
  8. My Search Is Over

Looks fantastic with the tinted windows!
  9. Mustang B&O compared to Explorer B&O?

A few observations. 1. Compared to the B&O in my Audi, it falls short. The Explorer is a much larger car and what I would think is a better acoustical chamber. It is also uses more sound deadening insulation as the Explorer is more luxury oriented than the Mustang. 2. I know everyone is...
  10. New Exhaust!

Looks like a good deal!! I contemplated a dual tip rear as well but paid the extra money for the Roush singles as I prefer the single tip look after having the dual tips on my Bullitt, GT350 and Mach 1 For the past 7 years. The thin, single wall tips on the active exhaust look really cheap to me.
  11. Anyone notice a difference in transmission after break in period

Manual tranny’s definitely have a break-in period and will smooth out quite nicely. Haven’t noticed anything on my A10 after 3,500 miles. It was pretty good out of the gate. The Tremec on my ’16 GT350 and ā€˜20 ZL1 both got better with age.
  12. Hallo Ford / S650 2.0 or S750

    Underlining, definitely.
  13. Car value shock!!

We all love our Mustangs, but the harsh reality is a Mustang GT or lower trim has never had good resale value… period.
  14. S650 Mustang GT versus C7 Corvette Accelertion

The Z06 is better compared to the GT500.
  15. Cross shopping Dark Horse with C8/M4

I really wouldn’t put the DH in the same category as the C8. The ā€˜Vette is a pure sports car and would embarrass a DH on the track. The M4 is a closer match. I think the DH is a slightly better value at roughly $10k less, but build quality and suspension is much better on the M4. I leased an...
  16. How much of the GT/DH power is actually usable by the everyday driver?

The simple answer is twofold: 1. Driver skill 2. Tires
  17. I got to drive a S650 for the first time recently.. I'm underwhelmed

Maybe not. I had a 2017 Camaro SS that I paid $41k for that had the world class Alpha chassis, a HUD, the Tremec 6 speed, GM’s Magneride(better than Ford), weighed 3600 lbs and was a true track weapon. Minus the AWD it got pretty close and IMHO has been the overall best value in a sports car of...
  18. Delivery Day Finally

Good for you brother!! Enjoy the hell out of it. More fun the the 2.3 IMHO.
  19. I got to drive a S650 for the first time recently.. I'm underwhelmed

But where’s the fun in that? It’s a good thread w/ good banter to get people going. After all, isn’t that why we spend our time here?
