I have not noticed any increase in noise. With the lids in place, I’m not sure if any filter will increase noise. Open box intakes probably do but then you have all of the pitfalls of an open box.

Thank you for your support. My oe filters looked just like yours when I started this whole process. What track did you race at? I recently did the Mustang Unleashed program and I can’t wait to get on the track again. Luckily, our local one stays open through winter, weather permitting.

We made these pretty tight since they will loosen over time and we wanted to make them last as long as possible. I think a decent amount of water can get into the intake box and hit the filters on the front side. That was one of my major driving forces for making these.
