I just got a 2026 to replace a 2019. Right off, I want the glasses drawer to the left of the steering wheel, the lighted "Mustang" door sills and Homelink, just to get us back to where we once were!
The front camera would be nice. I like seeing the rear camera on a large screen for detail, so...
Your holes are about where I had marked to drill mine. When I popped the top piece off for a look, the area I would have drilled into was full of electronics. Yikes! Maybe our cars are optioned differently. I didn't have the electronic stuff there on my '19.
Your install looks great! Thanks.
I had the Audi A4 wind deflector on my 2019 convertible and loved it. I especially liked that it could be folded in half and placed in the trunk, unlike many other options. I had already marked the holes to drill on my new 2026 -- same interior trim panels beside the rear seats -- when I...
I just got my new 2026. I have always carried a Gorilla brand breaker bar with a 13/16ths socket to remove my lug nuts, if I need to remove a wheel while on the road. I got McGard locking lug nuts and the related McGard "key" socket as part of the factory optional Anti-Theft Package. When I...
I wish these features were still standard. If Ford didn't keep them as standard features in the "base" Premium convertible, at least it could have included them in the 401A option.
The things I miss, so far, from the S550 are the glasses drawer to the left of the steering wheel, Homelink, and the illuminated door sills. These were standard equipment and are now not even available as options. I'm sure I'll discover more as I become more familiar with my new car.
My new...
Yesterday, I picked up my 2026 Mustang GT and traded in my 2019, so I guess I have the right to now be here! I've been lurking around for a while waiting for delivery!
I guess I have a type!
Please see my posts ##34 & 39, above. My car was built on 7/31/2026. At that time the Order Status tracker showed "Estimated Delivery: 08/07/2026 - 08/13/2026." This made sense to me since my dealer is only 83 miles from the Flat Rock assembly plant. However, on August 8th, the Order Status...
See my posts ## 12 & 20, above. Despite having been told that my car would be delivered between 10/7 and 10/13/26, I got the following which I opened today:
See my post#34, above. Last night I got the following update:
It's hard for me to figure out why it would take over 2 months to move a car 83 miles. You would think Ford would want to deliver the car and receive payment for a "built" vehicle.
See my post #12, above. Last night, I received the following update:
I picture my car sitting in a big field full of Mustangs with the rotors rusting, the unprotected convertible top and paint exposed to the elements, and UV rays beating down on my "summer only" tires. It may be too cold...
Interesting that the GT Performance Package on a convertible includes "Spoiler Delete," but the Dark Horse SC convertible gets that thing. I wonder about actual aerodynamics vs. appearance.
My new Mustang was supposedly "Built" on 7/31/26. I had received the following:
When I got up this morning and checked on the order, the information had changed to show the following:
I'm only 83 miles from the Ford Flat Rock assembly plant, but my dealer tells me my vehicle is not...
