This was well after it's debut/reveal. The s550's original camo pics were almost 100% identical to the way the camo is on the s650 right now. Hell judging by the hood and front bumper I'm not surprised if this was the GT500 testcar..

Personally for me the hood line looked too similar to the 18 imho for it to be a tease of the next gen..

I personally have always liked the looks of the Mustang II personally... then again I'm also one who loves the Mach E. So far not a single gen that I truly hate.. except for the first half of the foxbody generation.
