Personally I'm wanting Ford Performance to release their tune for it moreso than the ECU being cracked since I usually just get the Ford Performance tunes. Wondering how much performance they can add while still keeping that warranty intact 🤔

Correct, not only did the driver use the paddle shifters in the mustang... He didn't know how to use the paddle shifters. Meanwhile the competition was automatic lol I can tell how that race is going to end no matter what cars are used.

Never said it was the end all be all, but the fact that the 14k cheaper car beats the type r in 0-60 says a lot. Lot of value for $32k.

They're as good as I think they are because I've driven many of them. And many GTs etc. I don't know what model/car you have, but something tells me you've been gapped by an Ecoboost lol

There are many tests out there for base Ecoboosts, but that's not my point at all. My point is that the ecoboost isn't crap like you stated it was. Its unbelievably good value for what it delivers. It's 13k cheaper than a GT. The type r is more than a base GT.

Coming from a 5.0 owner with the performance pack, magneride, active exhaust... the Ecoboost has unbelievable value. I've driven many and they handle unbelievably well and are quick. They're fun cars.

So you agree that the $32k ecoboost 0-60 is quicker or as quick as the $46k type r 0-60? I'm not crapping on the type r by any means, but you were saying the Ecoboost is worthless. I'm saying it has good value. If the lowest of the low base Ecoboost is quicker or as quick as a $46k type r 0-60...

I never said the 60-100 Ecoboost was quicker. He said that the Ecoboost was worthless and I said it has a better 0-60 than the type r which he didn't believe. The type r is 50% more money than an ecoboost lmao It should be blowing the doors off it but it doesn't.

Still quicker than 5 seconds. And $14k cheaper. It's a good value. Not going to convince anyone otherwise.

Even though I have a GT, those Ecoboosts are a blast to drive! And super quick. They really give you a lot of value for being in the lower $30Ks.

This is the hill you want to go on? Lol Performance package isn't shaving a half second off the 0-60 time. There are many tests showing 0-60 base Ecoboost coming in at under 5 seconds, which is the $46k civic type r 0-60 time.

Within the last month. Publications and content makers on YouTube have been reviewing 2025 GTs and Ecoboosts also.

All this work you put in your post for nothing lol I used the $32k 2025 Mustang Ecoboost 0-60 which comes in at a good 4.5 seconds compared to the $46k Civic Type R which got a 4.9 seconds by Car and Driver.

Yeah, the 5.0 has better performance than the Ecoboost of course. I have a 5.0 with the performance package, active exhaust, nite pony etc. But the Ecoboost is a lot cheaper and gives great performance... Even better 0-60 than a type r that costs 46k lol And that was the original point. I said...

So sad that the $32k Ecoboost has a better 0-60 than the $46k type r lol Now imagine putting just half that extra money into the Ecoboost what it could do.
