The “next gen” CarPlay does have that functionality now we just have to hope ford plans in releasing it for the mustangs

Yea I understand that no manufacturers as far as I know put out an actual release date for their cars but I am just wondering why are the cars being held I just want to know what’s going on

Jim Owens said early summer it is now passed early summer, that was the original window so therefore delayed cars are built just sitting for no reason that we know of if they weren’t building cars or having issues building cars it would be a different story

As of right now just the main screen will support standard CarPlay but there is a chance a future update could introduce that functionality and something I am really hoping for. Next gen CarPlay isn’t out quite yet either but I believe we will start seeing cars with it within the next few months

You an me have the EXACT same build lol and a lot of the reasons you stated match up to mine i thought this would would be more popular especially because it has been a common build for media and advertising but good thing for us I guess we get to be unique

Don’t kill me I know what you all are going to say but are there any shift knob replacements for the auto? Im not a fan of the shift knob design but also dont want to pretend i got a manual so something that doesn’t look like a manual shift knob?

Well again talking about scheduling only mustangs have been ready to ship as early as late May but the delays are with shipping them out and who knows wtf is going on there

I think they are talking about scheduling delays cause they are still being scheduled pretty regularly and production has been increasing week over week

Did you get your VIN and order code of not get it so you can corroborate his story with Ford chat they don’t have much info but will tell you if your car is actually built and a ETA which is bogus right now but still it’s something

Ask for the VIN from your salesperson and your order code then you can check yourself through the tracker and Ford chat

She said it’s “in transit” lol I asked for proof and she is sending it shortly so we will see what happens

Look at your window stick upper middle right for a date thats your blend date and as far as I know They have not missed this date so your car should be done about a week from that day
