I wish they would just tell us all the variants from the start. Don't care about preformance stuff. But just the names so we knew which one to save up for.
I think that is probably programming for the A10. I remember it takes a good 1k to 2k miles for those transmissions to settle and learn how to shift for the s550. Plus the DH is a track car so it doing that in the 1/4 mile is a bonus.
Don't listen to the internet. There are 40 different videos and 100 different opinions about these cars. Go to the s550 page and you'll see the same complaints about that car as well at first. If you were not gonna constantly drag it or track it, then it's not a "dud" but a car that improved...
The Mach 1 and the bullitt were also overpriced gt cars that were re-branded with an old name. Same thing and no one really complained because ford gave it an old name to make it feel "special". It's the same thing with the Shelby. It's just and overpriced supercharger car. But slap Shelby on it...
Never said it wasn't a good car. And if you loaded a Mach 1 up fully it was close to 70k like 66-67k with destination. So if it had the gas tax it would have been 68k fully loaded. The DH isn't bad until you add all the options to it. It's only 3k increase from the base Mach 1. Honestly there...
I don't think the Shelby name plate is gonna pop back up. If I remember ford said it cost alot to use the Shelby name. So I can see how using the Dark Horse name is saving them losts of cash. They are rebranding the names to stand out from Shelby. So the gt500 could possibly be a different name...
Yeah my dealership is back near my hometown. It's a smaller dealership in the country area. So they make alot of money in truck sales because those big farmers in the state stay down there and always break trucks lol. Plus they get alot of trucks because they sale fast. So cars don't get sold...
But it could be break in or it could be a glitch in programming. These car are new model yrs and it's not like Ford been communicating stuff so there could be a limiter for break in. But it just seems like Ford went back in some stuff and didn't update. This whole launch had been odd not as bad...
Yeah the older cars are cheaper. But none of the new cars are cheaper. Every car u looked at was expensive 65k and up for any preformance car. Unfortunately these are the times we are in for car people. Everything has increased except job wages. And with EV's costing way more than a gas car with...
Ok I gotta say it. Yall realized the mach 1 was also 70k right. If you load it up like you wanted it was 70k. Why are we talking like the mach 1 wasn't close to 70k when you added HP and other options. Only different now it ford added the appearance pack, the stripes, and the gas tax increases...
I think most cars are not updating correctly. People have mentioned they received their cars before the eta that is posted. So it seems that most cars do not update after going to the ramp.
I'm just getting the car to get a gt500 lol. I could care less what the times are. I don't drag much or go to the track. I just do rolling races if I catch someone interested in having fun. I'm sure ford will fix whatever issue is going on. But this is the growing pains with new cars.
