As others say, it really depends on how you will use the car:
1) is it a fun car to mainly commute and do daily chores? Or you plan to drive it fast in long highway/canyon type of roads.
If the first, itās mainly about looks. So get the base version and reserve some budget for wheels and tires...
I have the same question, so I asked CGPT. Hereās the answer:
āYour STOCK PP wheels + 265/285 =
near-ideal fit.
Front wheel: 19Ć9.0J
Recommended tire widths: 245ā265 mm (275 is the max you should go)
A 265/40R19 fits perfectly.
Not stretched, not bulged ā just fully supported.
Rear wheel...
Hi,
Iāll give you a different opinion on the magneride.
I have a 24 GT PP with magneride and automatic transmission.
The key problem of the magneride is that you canāt adjust it independently (like you can in a bmw).
Meaning, if you want a stiffer ride your need to put the car in track mode /...
Yes, as far as I could find, there is no magneride running for the 650 yet and I wanted to lower the car anyway. The car handles much better, highly recommend if you feel your car is too Ā« boaty Ā». Steeda has several options of springs for magneride that stiffen the handling.
For nāon-magneride cars not a big deal. However for cars with magneride, itās a major pain that you cannot set the stiffer suspension mode (track) without deleting the driverās aids.
And since the difference of the suspension between normal and sport is mild at best, we end up with (in my...
My GT has PP with magneride.
If it was today I would :
. Save the money of the magneride and put Bielstein B16 pss10 or similar in the aftermarket. More or less the same price, and unlike magneride, you can actually properly tune & lower the suspension. Magneride is frustrating : too soft in...
Contacted Steeda Europe, good news ahead:
āYes this is being finalised currently. We expect to have EU tuning available and ready to ship in the next month or two. Certainly aiming for well before Christmas.
If you want more power (and are looking to add a tune later as well) we recommend...
Looks amazing!
Let us know if you experience any rubbing at all in the rear tires : considering the same setting, but I was told itās safer to put 305/30s in the back for a lowered car?
Would love to get your feedback.
yeah, beats me⦠I insisted with Lund, here is the answer:
āNo sir, this will not be something we ever support due to legal repercussions.ā
No hope here, and they are the best TCM tuners.
Thankfully the manual paddle shifting in the AT10 works pretty good, itās fast and smooth ⦠well, other than...
I have an European Mustang 650 with the AT10.
Having driven a similar car in the US for extended periods, and actually enjoying the AT10 then, I was very surprised about how different the European one feels.
After several rabbit holes trying to understand why, the most reasonable explanation I...
