The warranty covers the drive train but there is a fixed number per components for example $1000 towards rear-end/ axles. I believe it's $7000 towards engine damage. I went with the stage 1 for now. If I want I can upgrade to a stage 2 later down the road.
I'm Canadian but I payed $2,900 to have my whipple installed by my dealer. I'm to old to put it on I could barley lift the box with the supercharger alone. Twenty years ago I would have installed it. A man needs to know his limitations.
Well that makes sense and agree we all payed to much for our Dark Horse and as I live in Canada payed way more than you guy's in the US it like $20,000 more than US list price. However still love it and with the supercharger it really puts a smile on my face. Get out and enjoy yours more.
For the same reasons already mentioned. picked up my DH with HP went to my tire guy and ordered the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S and put them on at 178 kilometers on the car. Now looking for some track rims to put the RS's on. Would recommend these great for the street. Have a safe drive.
I'm curious did you go back to the same dealer? If you did sounds like their parts man was sleeping. But I am of the opinion that people who care started dying off about 10 years ago. But at least you got your parts.
So it seals to the hood. So all it is doing is providing more area around the air filters Right? Is it supposed to increase HP or to make the S/C louder? looking at them but they would cost me over $600 so not sure if its a big enough bang for the buck?
Can I ask what your Drag pak is? I hear this referenced all the time but nobody ever says rim brand size and tires. Could you provide this info and how you like them. As I'm looking for some. Thank you.
I swapped out the Trafao RS at 178 kilometers Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. for street use and have RS for the track that I can put on for track days. The RS's are super sticky but don't last long as they are much softer compounds.
