I think Ford wants the GTD seen actually going fast and handling extremely well. the drift brake thing can be what ecoboost owners, Nissan x owners, and civics do for fun. the GTD will be busy crushing tracks and possibly drag strips that lesser cars, even lesser mustangs could only dream of.
