have to agree. Red looks kinda meh on the 550 and that may be because I don’t care for red cars.
but… dang. The s650 GT ROCKS this color! The rear in particular is drop dead gorgeous. The black accents really make it pop around the tails and deck lid. Headlights too. But the reset in red is...
Ford won’t have a case. “Dark horse” is and has been in the public vernacular for a very long time.
being that it’s a trim level of a sports car model versus the make or model vs a motorcycle name also distances confusion in anyone’s mind, especially since Ford doesn’t sell motorcycles.
ford...
I agree that we wanted a much more thorough redesign and not an s550+.
but it’s obvious Ford is saving that for when they are sure how they’ll power it.
for what it is, excluding the dark horse, they’ve done an amazing g job. The GT FLOWS WELL FROM CRONT TO SIDE TO REAR. I love that they both...
if that’s what it is, it’s not much different than what a Nissan maxima has.
I get where you’re coming from. I’m talking about themore pronounced, obvious design feature. Not a “squint until you see it” kind of thing. That edited photo has an extra larger one that doesn’t look so hot with the...
I noticed it on the side, but the way it don’t just doesn’t fit the new lines. Cleaner without it. As you said it’s redundant.
that said, I’d love for that element to return at a higher location at some point. It’s been amustang design staple forever.
yikes.
I mean, great skill o that photoshop, but that edit really makes it look old, outdated, and not nearly as aggressive or sophisticated. The taillights are already the perfect size and proportion, the height and concave space is just right as well. Also, the 650looks better without the black...
that’s a good thing. I don’t see mustang taking from the Mach e either. My point was to debate those that want the mustang to borrow from an suv that already borrowed from it.
the s650 is as good of an s550+ as we could have hoped for in its design.
I hear you. Especially after you’re retired. But I’m not in that place. And I’m known as a perfectionist as well. I always figure you have to aim high. Even if you miss, you’ll achieve. But if you never try to exceed, you’ll ensure you never do.
and of course there’s the obligatory “it can’t be done” or “no one can buy it” post.
it’s a halo car as is. It’s going to be major expensive if it’s worth anything.
If it’s just another clone with a newish Ford v8, spare me.
no one wants “the NEW AC Cobra, which is really just a new remake of...
it really would be awesome to see Shelby American swing for the fences, hire the best engineeers anddesigners, and be the top hot rod car company o ce again. Give Bugatti and the big dogs something to worry about.
Not just rerelease a copy of the old car. Make the best Looking, fastest, best...
