I’ve tested this today, double press (as quickly as I can possibly do it) both up and down through the gears (whilst not in manual mode) and it doesn’t skip going either way. Because the gear change is so smooth you might be missing it but it’s definitely there in the exhaust note.

That seems strange because the behaviour you’ve described is exactly what the car should do if you gun in.

The thing that annoys me most about the automatic gearbox is that when slowing down gently to between 20-35kmh (lots of speed bumps here) it drops down only to 3rd gear, when ideally you’d want to be pulling away in 2nd, so either you have to intervene with the paddles, or by jabbing or mashing...
