So… you admit 5% is correct. Good. An improvement from previous posts.
  2. How do we save the mustang?

The world saw this in the 70s too. then people got sick of it and v8s were a big hit yet again. then again, the Japanese were never known for their v8 engines. the v8 is literally the perfect solution for land vehicle Propulsion.
  3. How do we save the mustang?

mic that were true, ALL manufacturers should quit trying and just make old cars with nicer interiors. Man that would be a dismal (and boring) scenario. The past had some great cars. We can buy old ones or get replicas if we want right now. Let the past be what it was. Time to press on into the...

lbs said “Mustang,” not some sport utility vehicle. lol
  5. How do we save the mustang?

the v8?whoops the turbo sixes as is. Add turbos to the 8s, and not only will the six banger see taillights (but barely. It would take binoculars), the poor car would no longer have doors due to the wind vortex created by the passing v8. Would be worth it though that v8 symphony would drown out...
  6. How do we save the mustang?

the RTR is just a GT body on an ecoboost powertrain and some suspension upgrades. I think it will slot above ecoboost and below GT. No one is going to spend v8 GT money on a 4banger. For the rally car, I don’t mean a dedicated unit. But one that will have a raptor rier, like a focus hatchback...
  7. How do we save the mustang?

I think they can simply square the roofline just a bit. Not a lot. but really, an AWD cobra with major firepower would be a great shot in the arm for this gen if they can keep the price and weight down on this dinosaur platform. anything but the RTR whatever that just came out. not expecting...
  8. How do we save the mustang?

imagine the equivalent of an affordable 2+2 zr1, taking the boys to their football game and smoking tje tires as you leave the game in style afterward. The kids would be the talk of the town. Priceless. Then those kids, their friends, those friend’s parents, and and everyone else will be buying...

Ok … mayb-E it’s time to back off from the coffee?
  10. How do we save the mustang?

Ford recently mentioned the v8 is staying. The best option is to invest in modern v8 development like they have with lesser ecoboost engines. Develop EV and hybrid tech in tandem.
  11. How do we save the mustang?

fun blast from the past. If only Ford made commercials with that kind of character now. Revolutionary iconic car. Different time then. Would love to see that kind of revolutionary spirit injected into the car again.

Magneride is a game changer since it came out in various forms.
  14. Boss Mustang S650 Maybe Coming Soon (via January 2025 Trademark Filing)

I actually dig the whine. I have a Borla cat back with Bassani X on my old Cobra. So I dig the v8 soundtrack mroe than anything. But coupled with that SC whine, it sounds rad.
  15. Boss Mustang S650 Maybe Coming Soon (via January 2025 Trademark Filing)

I don't disagree at all. The name isn't as popular as some of the heritage badges. But it's a good car and the name fits. I agree. I don't think it's as fast as it should be for 500 hp. But it's pretty good on the track.
  16. How do we save the mustang?

Ford already sells commodity vehicles. The enthusiast vehicles, like the Mustang coupe or the Raptor tiers stand out. they shold reincorporate CARS though. Allow a brand new Mustang platform to be amortized more cost effectively and catch badk up with Hyundai, BMW, toyota, etc.
  17. Boss Mustang S650 Maybe Coming Soon (via January 2025 Trademark Filing)

disagreed on all fronts. firstly, my point was I don’t think the boss is returning this generation due to redundancy with tje dark horse. The only reason it could is if it seriously outperformed it at the same or cheaper price point. I don’t see that happening as ford is happily price gouging...
  18. Boss Mustang S650 Maybe Coming Soon (via January 2025 Trademark Filing)

kinda why I doubt the Boss is coming back this generation. Kinda redundant. But ok another note, the dark horse name didn’t exactly catch fire. It just doesn’t resonate like heritage names such as Boss, Mach, Cobra, Shelby GTXXX, etc. so who knows how many generations it lasts.
