He's literally trying to engage in the conversation and making valid points. Why cant you just answer basic questions and respond to the conversation instead of coming back with snarky remarks and insults? If you disagree then make your damn point. We're six pages in, and you seem more...
I will add my own experience regarding this - I came from a Tremec on my last Mustang (a 23 Mach 1). Then I test drove a manual GT S650 and was very underwhelmed by comparison. Then I drove an A10 GT S650 and was pleasantly and very surprised at how fast and fun it was.
So I would rank them in...
Magnaride isn't going to help the ride during street driving in normal mode. In fact I doubt you will even be able to tell the difference. Where Magnaride shines is in sport and track modes on the twisties or road course. 19s will handle better in all applications.
Interesting because when I showed you a picture of my wheels you said it sold you.
Not trying to argue here, but what is it about the PP you feel you need to have? If its not the wheels, then the only appeal would be the Torsen rear end and extra cooling bits. But you said you won't be tracking...
Wasn't the main reason you wanted the Performance Pack because of the wheels though?
For someone who isn't going to track the car, why not get a GT premium with 20" wheels that will already have the all seasing tires on them? Seems like you are way over thinking this.
Goodness. You really are going down the rabbit hole on this.
Just so I understand, you are going to order a PP GT but swap the wheels for aftermarket 20"s??? Is this because you don't like the tires?
As for the offset. The values are the values. You need to look up the offset from Ford on the...
Grabber Blue wasn't on my radar until I saw one in person. Then I had to have it. I had to look everywhere. There were only 3 available in the entire state!
I actually think I'd prefer the PP version if I were to swap. No glue and better ground clearance. My car barely clears a standard curb block as it is.
You're only gaining. 4" in width assuming you keep the profile size of 40. You will never feel that on the road. Not to mention bulging sidewalls may flex more in corners. If you want more grip, get wider wheels.
I let mine drop to 1k before I go. Only because shifting from park at high idle isn't smooth. It usually only take 30 seconds or so.
It takes way longer for a car to warm up idling than it does driving. Excessive idling is never good for an engine. Driving it easy until it warms up is a lot...
