Cobra….I think the ohms on that speaker are too low for my guesswork, though the fact many of you used it says a lot. OK I took the center speaker out real quick. The top is 3.5” but the opening is slightly smaller with the screw holes 4” apart. The opening is only like 3.25” wide and Ford...

Under closer inspection, Those are 2.7 ohm, though….so afraid they will be brighter than the other speakers. I think I need to look at 4 ohm so the center doesn’t pop too hard over the door speakers. Might get these Kickers...

Cucuru‘. Mustang GT can fit a lot of stuff! More than most think. Greg: That’s a bit reassuring to know about the general stock speaker quality. Not ready to change the center speaker yet…sounds like I have to remove the dash? Yikes!

Thanks…will keep that all in mind! The Pioneer comes with a trim ring, I think…so will see how it all goes together when it’s all here. Why Ford is so proud of this B&O system, I don’t know. maybe the brand name sounds good, all the while using the cheapest speakers known to man.

Thanks again to all for the advice! For sound I guess I’m not going for perfection, just better than stock crap….lol. Cucuru’, I understand stressing over a perfect car. Or worse, a perfect expensive car….lol. Those first few rock chips can really hurt, and perfect cars seem to be idiot...

Thanks AZ Ryan! I saw those vents in the video You posted. I cancelled my poly fill order and saved $20. Either way, I know I’m overthinking it. It’s what I do…lol. Cucucru’….you have a custom sub box? Curious why you went from a DH to a GT. a little more streetable?

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback! I read where if the sub box is vented, not to use poly fill. I haven’t taken my box out yet so I didn’t know. But Cucuru’ is saying there is a vent in the back, so I may rethink using poly. I also worry about heat build up. Apparently the speakers can get...

Nice! Just a quick survey…how many here have/or plan to put poly fill in the sub enclosure? I ordered some, but am not sure I will use it. Is heat a factor to worry about? I guess at the least loosely packing the back of the enclosure can’t hurt?

Not sure if you guys know this, probably do, but I’ll say it anyway just to be sure you guys know that even in Drive, you can activate the paddles and it goes into Manual mode. Only downside is that it’s temporary and if the paddles aren’t touched for like 5-10 seconds it reverts back to Auto...

I also have the Ford one and it fits perfect. Order carefully, there are two versions, one has one side shorter to accommodate the subwoofer.

Without getting up and looking, generic specs say 35’s. if it’s different, I’ll correct my post. 30’s would be rubber bands….lol.

looks like shipping times heavily depends on warehouse and address location. If I remember right, most of my parts ordered came from East Coast. I think New Jersey, which was only 2 states away.

I was just as surprised..lol. I felt much more of a difference than I expected to. Maybe the 20’s don’t leave much tire cushion to absorb road imperfections. I felt everything!

I ordered GT floor mats, front splitter, trunk mat, rear blackout panel, and rear spoiler all directly from Ford. Being in MD I was close to their warehouses and got nearly every item in 2 days. I waited like 3-4 days for the floor mats if I remember. All parts shipped to my house directly...

Being my GT came with 20” wheels, the steel cowl brace was already installed at the factory. I just added the tower brace on top.
