Shelby America is an independent tuner and has nothing in common with the Ford Performance GT500 successor...
It's just a Mustang tuner that holds the right to call their tuning versions 'Shelby'. They do not develop any engines or even cars.
Wrong. The successor to the GT500 will have the...
Funny, If I use the same calculator it says 33000 pound in 2015 are equal to 45600 pounds in 2025...

Well, I canāt speak for the US but in Germany taxes havenāt changed all that much. What has changed is Fords pricing⦠Not saying Ford shouldnāt have increased prices but if inflation is 26% and prices go up by 50% I would call that greed⦠It's not that they didn't make any money prior to the...
I would slightly disagree. Swindling demand for coups/convertibles is most likely a strong factor but if demand was higher I doubt Mustang sales would be greatly affected by it. The S650 isnāt such a compelling offering after all. I just test drove one last week and in it on itself itās a great...
I skipped the whole discussion because I'm not wasting my time reading through 6 pages full of nothing :D
I skipped to the end, saw this picture and the comment and was reminded of just too many movies where exactly this happens: a truck catches up to a regular car, or a SUV with bad guys in it...
Nice video, great progress and interesting designs but it doesn't work for me at all. None of the designs speak Mustang but rather 'Matchbox competition' or bat-mobil...
It's a design, I know but I don't understand why so many get the proportions absolutely wrong. The only somewhat proportional...
The problem is not that 'we' hate YT it's just that you ask for interaction on a topic and hide the topic behind a very mediocre video.
If you would've posted your 5 reasons and an additional link to your video no one would have blamed you - but the way you did it is just atrocious.
People like to write off of each other...
'First guy: there is this old hybrid concept from almost 10 years ago and there is a new Mustang GT500 successor in the pipeline...
Second guy: new GT500 coming, I could imagine they pair it with the hybrid concept...
Third guy: my sources have told me...
'most likely' in terms of 'we don't know the specific name right now so at least there's a .1% chance that it's going to be called GT500 but most cetainly not' ;-)
Hardly anyone believes that the GT500 successor will be called GT500 but it's the best we can call it atm. It also shows how much better GT500 is compared to Boss, Cobra and what not. Everyone in the world understands that GT500 is above 350 and above a GT. No one (outside some old school fans)...
I just hope they don't use that name. Besides the fact that it's already used by a car that is powered by the Coyote engine - AC Cobra GT - the OG Cobra is just something completely different than what a Mustang is and has been. No one needs that copy cat name except, well, the Cobra.
If it's 'just' a refreshed GT500 with GTD parts - and that's our best guess at the moment - then we don't get a manual option or a EU version...:crying:

As mentioned in the title the guys over at Ford Authority spotted the first GT500 with production body. They have many pictures as well.
Not many information are shared...
In Germany the average price per 'premium' (91 Octane) gallon is around $7.15 so I would say prices in Washington State are as good as it gets š
If you don't push the car and use it as a GT car you won't feel much difference as you should loose around 15 to 25 HP. However, in Germany the car is...
Almost all BMWs these days are somewhat generic. Fantastic AT, no drop in performance in consecutive runs, almost instant torque and HP ... If you're looking for a 'tool' that does exactly what it's meant for buy a BMW or if you have the money to spend buy a Porsche - they're just better.
But...
I think thatās a pretty good summary. Look at the car, sit in it, dive it and at the end of the day you get two almost completely different cars although theyāre quite similar on paper. They somehow get cross shopped but from my own experience and what I can witness all around me is that you are...
I have driven both, the B58 engine in the 240 is exceptional, cheap, reliable, easy to tune and can generate around 460hp with ease (stage 1) at the wheels. Much cheaper than a M2...
However, the M2 is much more of a race/track car than the 240i. The S58 can be tuned to around 700hp with...
