  1. Factory Oil Slightly Low?

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 .....Yep! That's what I have been told is the factory fill! In your case that's what I would use to top-up your present oil (when hot) for your investigation. Use that oil and as @DarkMatterGrey suggests chart your results for a week or so. For your first oil change go to...
  2. Factory Oil Slightly Low?

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 .... If you are "topping-up" your oil that is what Ford put in it at the factory (because it is reading low on the dip stick) I would use Motorcraft synthetic blend. For my FIRST oil change (after what arrived from the factory/dealer) I would up-grade to FULL synthetic.
  3. Factory Oil Slightly Low?

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ....there has been so much controversy as to whether Ford uses some kind of special "break-in" oil or oil with additives for the factory fill. This speculation has been exacerbated by some owners getting a noticeable ticking noise, like the spark tick on a BBQ starter...
  4. Factory Oil Slightly Low?

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 , yes it is possible that you are low from the factory. It is also possible that the system "burped" some air and dropped the level. Great suggestions on the forum to fill it to normal level (I recommend when oil is hot - add to full..... slowly) then chart it. Look at...
  5. Factory Oil Slightly Low?

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ..... I like what @DarkMatterGrey suggests. Don't add any new variables such as new oil, additives etc. to the investigation. Chart out your experience this will expose any losses - if you have no other signs such as a visible leak/drip or smoke out the pipes. You are, of...
  6. Factory Oil Slightly Low?

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ..... yes different specs are confusing that's why my grand dad used to say the stick (dipstick) never lies. I would start with 9.5 quarts (oil hot) and add a bit if the stick showed it needed it. As I'm sure you know it is better to be a bit under than a bit over.
  7. Intense Lime Yellow Metallic - anyone ordering it?

@jimbo67 ..... oh man I envy that spray booth!
  8. Factory Oil Slightly Low?

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ..... we always changed the oil when hot with the engines we built-up as we were taught to do it this way by our grand father and father..... so we just got in the habit of doing so with all our vehicles from sleds, to boats, to cars ..... everything. Their opinion was that...
  9. Engine Oil Change Trap Door Please.

@DarkMatterGrey .... I'll dig the parts out and post a couple of pics.
  10. Factory Oil Slightly Low?

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ..... always check your engine oil when it is hot and on level ground. Fill until it is slightly below the high mark.
  11. Engine Oil Change Trap Door Please.

@DarkMatterGrey ..... well that's interesting - I took the part numbers right off the two different Ford packs and they fit my 2024 GT (built Sept 2023, if that makes any difference).
  12. Low Coolant = cause for concern?

@ListedGuru ..... yes, coolant will expand when warm. No sign of leaks, no smell, no white exhaust you're probably just fine. Keep an eye on it and run your cabin heater for a while to circulate the coolant and get any air out if there is still any in the lines. Like that you are using full...
  13. Will aftermarket headers void warranty?

@Q6543 ..... respectfully, I question 40 whp due to just headers. The oem Ford exhausts have a very good and decently balanced design. Picking up 40 wheel horse power is a huge feat and I would have to see a dyno test to believe that.
  14. Will aftermarket headers void warranty?

@Mr Hyde ..... agree 100% and so do Dodge and GM. You are just giving them a get out of jail card.
  15. Will aftermarket headers void warranty?

@Old School1 ..... nice Mustang (I have a 2024 GT 'vert too) IMO not worth the risk for the slight (if any) gain. If you want a mod that is easy, inexpensive and will not void warranty use an aftermarket H pipe. I do not have one but several in a local Mustang group do and the pipe does...
  16. Screen Brightness

@bbarnett ..... something is amiss. My screen is waaaay too dim even when I use the brightness button to increase it.
  17. Anti Rust Protection under carriage

@RaceRedder ..... Canadian Mustangs arrive at the dealer the same as American Mustangs - no factory under coatings....which is what I like, as I think most factory under coatings are crap. I had a pre-purchase agreement with my dealer to allow me 45-60 minutes on a lift in their detailing shop...
  18. Shelby Mustang Shop Video

Colleagues, if you have an hour there is an interesting video available on you tube. It is entitled All Access BTS at Shelby - the most legendary Mustang speed shop. Yes the interviewer/host is a bit kiss-up but the shots of the shop and the various models was, to me amazing. Somewhere in the...
  19. Auto stop start on a 2025 GT premium.

@Gregs24 if you are contributing to a discussion regarding Co or CO2 in the context of climate change, vehicular and gas usage you are already in a political discussion - like it or not. The stop/start/idling technology does not account for surge dynamics of the system at start -up or with...
  20. Dodge EV Sound While Driving

@jimgt2k24 ..... a sad and pathetic attempt at an environmentally dirty product = EVs.
