  1. Is The 6th Gen Camaro SS Better Than The S650 Mustang GT ?

Haven't driven the Chevy. But the last ones were $40 - $50k more than the Ford. It'd have to be bloody amazing for that.
  2. Tire wear

I don't see a problem. As far as I can see wear pattern is fine, and it's a fair way from the wear bars
  3. Front parking sensors

OK, that seems a bit cheapskate. I was spoilt on the last car, sensors and cameras up the wazoo.
  4. Front parking sensors

We only get rear sensors and camera on the GT down here. That long nose needs some kind of warning, and my wife gets sick of being my parking sensor
  5. S650 Mustang V8 to Get Ford Performance Calibrations (Tune)

I didn't get past half worn on my PS5's, so I'll take your word for that. But the PZ4's on my Cupra Ateca had about 3mm left at 19000 kms, I doubt they would have got to 25000. Also, wet grip is a big issue here in the "land of the long white rain cloud". The Pirellis were OK, but nowhere near...
  6. Bought a 2024 GT Premium as my first car (I’m 15 and just getting started in the car world)

You better load up that M60 Rambo5.0, you're needed here. I was a Driver Testing Officer for a while, you learn to tell by some kids attitudes eactly how they'll do before the driving test. Now I haven't met Mr Rambo, but I suspect he'll do pretty well on his learning curve. BTW My first vehicle...
  7. Bought a 2024 GT Premium as my first car (I’m 15 and just getting started in the car world)

Good for you. But your personal finances are nobody else's business. You seem to be a nice polite kid, but there is a time to tell some people to make love elsewhere.
  8. Front parking sensors

I mentioned some time back that I was getting these fitted. Well it's turned into a saga. The guy the dealer recommended stuffed the install up, falsing constantly, and I'm getting a refund from him. I've got another outfit lined up to do them with a speed sensor to control them. I have found...
  9. S650 Mustang V8 to Get Ford Performance Calibrations (Tune)

For durability, excellent wet grip, and quick road driving Michelin PS5's are hard to beat. Not great for track days though. The German ADAC tested a bunch of UHP tyres and the Mich 5's were way ahead for tread life
  10. Base seats for track use?

Try them. Find a quiet backroad with some tightish corners. ( This is general advice. There are no guarantees of the absence of tears. Do so at your own risk. Blah blah blah)
  11. Charging System Service Now

OK. Normally that would indicate a low state of charge. But mine sometimes shows under 12v but it starts and runs fine.
  12. Bought a 2024 GT Premium as my first car (I’m 15 and just getting started in the car world)

Here's one tip that it seems few people know. When approaching a bus at a bus stop, look under the front of the front wheel. You'll see people's feet through there as they move around the front of the bus to cross the road. An extra few seconds valuable warning. Especially school buses. And...
  13. Bought a 2024 GT Premium as my first car (I’m 15 and just getting started in the car world)

Got it. We call the learner permit a learner licence. When can you get a full licence, 18?
  14. Bought a 2024 GT Premium as my first car (I’m 15 and just getting started in the car world)

I'm not going to give advice, you can learn the hard way like I did.😎 Seriously though, take it easy, learn the cars little tricks, enjoy it. You probably don't know how lucky you are.🥳 BTW Can you get a licence at 15 there? We used to here until about 5 years ago, it's 16 for a learners now.
  15. Alloy Gators Anyone ?

The Pirellis have a really big anti scuff bead. All tyres should have them, it'll save a lot of tears.
  16. Anyone use the Sunglass cubby

I use it, had it on the last three cars. My wife's car doesn't have one and it's PIA.
