When the factory shocks get tired I might spend a bit and go to quality adjustables. You learn a lot about supension performance, and what affects what, as a bike rider. I always put Ohlins shocks and quality cartridges on my later bikes.

I like it as is. Every modded car I've had always required fettling. Bloody annoying things that break or go wrong at the worst time. I've very rarely had that happen on stock modern cars. Besides, 0 - 100 kmh in around 4.6 or so without attention gathering launch control is great by me.

The ignition map is the max timing the ECU will allow under ideal conditions. Raising octane over the Ford spec won't make it add more timing. But if the map is altered to allow more timing advance for 100 octane or E85, etc, it will produce more power to a point.
