  1. Ford’s Mustang Is The Most Desired Dream Car In The World according to MoneySuperMarket

At one time, GM's Tri-five Chevies were the most modified vehicles on the planet. Even today, virtually no other models have as much after-market support. From what I read here, I suspect that title will be bestowed upon the Mustangs from the death of the Fox body until now!
  2. Update: 2026 Mustang GT350/TA Revealed [Shelby American teases new sports car TODAY at 1:45PM MT]

Speaking of Carroll Shelby the man... He lived as long as he did because he was fortunate (or rich) enough to receive a new heart. Perhaps his remaining heirs need the same type of transplant? ...If you get my drift?
  3. Update: 2026 Mustang GT350/TA Revealed [Shelby American teases new sports car TODAY at 1:45PM MT]

There you go! Shelby applying more lipstick to the point of being almost gaudy.
  4. Update: 2026 Mustang GT350/TA Revealed [Shelby American teases new sports car TODAY at 1:45PM MT]

Perhaps, but there are just so many ways to apply lipstick. Sooner or later the end result is just a pig.
  5. Update: 2026 Mustang GT350/TA Revealed [Shelby American teases new sports car TODAY at 1:45PM MT]

Ah yes! Another glamorized clone of the GTD. Is there no shame?
  6. Create your own S650 model

How about paddle shifters for every 10R80 equipped Mustang regardless of model or trim level?
  7. Does anyone also think that the new DH SC grille will be part of the regular 2027 Mustang refresh line-up?

I wouldn't doubt it. Heck, look at all the different grills Ford has for the various F150s! What makes the Mustang special?
  8. Those buying a Dark Horse SC, what color are you picking?

Over the years Ford has offered more weird colors than any other car maker, or so it seems. Some of these (Benjamin Moore's Oxford White for example) are Trademarked. Makes me wonder about the legal status of other Ford colors?
  9. RTR Grille w/ LED intake lights

Interesting comment about legality. I'm not sure about the Fed, but most states (including New Mexico where I live) only allow white or amber front lighting. There are several vehicles in my surrounding neighborhood which have 'red-colored' headlight surrounds apparently turned on whenever...
  10. New 2026 Mustang GT Convertible (Orange Fury) owner

I've only owned one ragtop in my life, and it only took one to convince me I'd never own another. Apparently you like them, and I'm sure they're better than they used to be. Good luck on your purchase.
  11. For people mad that Ford is ditching Shelby, hear me out

I agree. In 1983 I purchased a Mercury Cougar with every factory option expect two tone paint and a moon roof. The car was just under $20,000 before taxes, etc. Today, that would be about $65,000 which is Dark Horse territory.
  12. I don't want to buy something I can't use!

Yes! I'm sorry, I thought the forum Title said it all.
  13. I don't want to buy something I can't use!

Albeit an Apple beta tester, I do own an HP laptop with Windows 11. It seems that more 'stuff' is supported using a PC, but I don't know the best approach. I would think a wired interface to the OBD is adequate, but Amazon lists about ten different ones. What I'm after are a few mods with...
  14. For people mad that Ford is ditching Shelby, hear me out

I'd like to think we're all remiss a bit. Back in the day, Shelby not only moded Fords, it did several models for Lee Iacocca at Chrysler too. Personally, I liked the setup in the GLH-S (I should mention a four hole turbo!), and I almost bought one. Closer to the truth, Shelby has always been a...
  15. Odd things I have noticed

Speaking of burning rubber.... Some asian crotch rocket owner about these parts has a set of smoke tires; one is blue and one in red. That is a sure-fire way to get cited, but it still is comical in a wry way.
  16. 3.8L Whipple for Dark Horse SC

I guess we're in a race (pun intended) for the 1/4 mile between the Mustang and the eCorvette? There is one thing which puzzles me. The eRay (or whatever you call it) hovers around $200,000 plus dealer add-ons (≈$25,000 or more). Quarter mile times are in the neighborhood of 10 seconds and 125...
  17. Odd things I have noticed

With respect to the headlights: I've never noticed any delay or failure when in the automatic mode. Seems to me it just works. I do wonder if the (available) heat is as quick on a GT as it is the Eco-Boost? My first Mustang (1979 Turbo) was blowing hot air in less than 1/2 a mile. My 2024...
  18. Ford named America's Most Iconic Company

To me, recalls prove that Ford still practices "JOB 1" !
  19. 2026 Mustang - Stop / Start still there

You can program all of the modes including turning off the S/S. It is under My Mustang.
