I dont think there was ever a time where Ford Performance GT350s or GT500s were selling under sticker - partially because of that Shelby name ....and yes I know that Cars...
There are some people on the S550 GT350 and GT500 forums that would like to have a word with you ….
We have quite a few members that actually drive/track their cars and track them …
curious if you have ever had your car on a track?
I have about 2 to 3 hours street time in the GT500 and my opinion mirrors yours. Unless your driving at 9/10 or 10/10 it’s kind of boring and you can absolutely feel the extra weight on the nose of the car even when cruising…but the acceleration is impressive… but Tesla acceleration is...
Im going to steal someone elses thoughts from the S550 forums......this is the problem......so even looking past the name....
First there was the supercharged GT500 that launched in 07

I’ve driven a Plaid. It’s cool but after you have floored it a few times …it just has no character. And the 99.9 percent of the time you’re not flooring it … it’s like driving a really fast Camry
This 1 million percent…. You can buy a used plaid for like 50k now … but I want experience… whether that being screaming blower whine or high RPM mechanical screams …
It’s not a shortage of qualified applicants…talking to my buddies it’s a few things
You can pay someone them 70% less
If they don’t do a good job … it’s much easier to fire them without worrying about some kind of lawsuit

I will say this as I did drive a gen 2 - it's amazing how solid/ smooth both gens felt on the road at the...
